Podcaster Bobbi Althoff and her husband separated the same month as her viral Drake interview, court records show.
Cory Althoff — who filed for divorce from Bobbi on Wednesday — listed July 4, 2023, as the date of their separation in his dissolution of marriage filing, obtained by Pvnew.
The “Hotline Bling” rapper appeared on Bobbi’s show, “The Really Good Podcast,” that same month, and they recorded the since-deleted episode from a hotel bed.
Weeks later, she addressed speculation that she and Drake, 37, had a romantic fling that led to her falling out with her now-estranged husband.
Bobbi, 26, took to her Instagram Story at the time to share “an uncensored DM” exchange she’d had with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.
“My girlfriend says you hooked up with Drake and got divorced. I am saying that is not true,” Portnoy’s message read.
Bobbi replied, “I am not commenting publicly but off the record, you’re right that is not true.”
She added atop the screenshot, “I did not want to do this podcast in the first place, and now so much negativity is coming from it.”
Bobbi promised to “leave it alone after this” without elaborating on speculation that she and Drake were feuding.
After the pair’s divorce became public knowledge this, Bobbi praised Cory for being an “incredible” father to their two daughters: Luca, 3, and Isla, 1.
“As most of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce,” she wrote in an Instagram statement alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple.
“As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife. Our girls are so lucky to have him as a father & I am so lucky to be able to coparent with such an incredible father and person.”
Bobbi concluded, “While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him.”
Drake, who is dealing with a separate scandal involving a leaked video, has not publicly commented on the Althoffs’ divorce.
Cory cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of the split and is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their kids.
