She’s ready to slay.
Zendaya stayed true to her character in “Dune: Part Two” at a photocall for the film in Mexico City, Mexico Monday night, wearing a futuristic, fashion-forward look — and showing off her toned abs — on the red carpet.
The 27-year-old “Greatest Showman” actress, who reprises her role in the “Dune” franchise’s new sequel, rocked a custom creation by London-based designer Torishéju Dumi for the event.
Her outfit, which was styled by her longtime stylist Law Roach, was a modified version of a look from the designer’s spring/summer 2024 runway featuring draped and rolled fabric in shades of black, gray and red that would fit in on the fictional planet of Arrakis.
The top consisted of four different shades of material wrapped around her torso and tied at the neck, with pieces also draping down her back in a waterfall design.
The designer rolled up gray and black fabric to create one tubular sleeve, with a similar circular detail attached to the front of Zendaya’s coordinating maxi skirt.
The skirt included a pop of red fabric and a thigh-high slit, and she showed off a pair of black Louboutin pumps — along with plenty of leg — while striking a pose.
The former Disney Channel star wore her hair pulled up in a sleek style, going jewelry-free to keep the focus on her bold ‘fit.
The designer shared her excitement about the look on Instagram Tuesday, writing, in part, “A VISION THE BRILLIANT AND BEAUTIFUL @zendaya IN CUSTOM TORISHÉJU STYLED BY THE ONE AND onLY @luxurylaw.”
“Couldn’t think of a more perfect character to wear this.
