Party crashers and gridlock caused mayhem outside Nylon’s exclusive Art basel Nights bash at Lenny Hochstein’s Star Island mansion in Miami on Saturday, multiple sources tell Pvnew exclusively.
“People were trying to crash the party that weren’t on the guest list, and it was crazy,” one spy tells us, adding that word had gotten out that the event was “the place to be that night.”
Another source adds that folks trying to gain entrance were asking invited attendees leaving the party whether they would sell their wristbands.
“A girl asked if they could have my wristband for $100,” the partygoer tells us, noting that they did not oblige but “it was total chaos.”
A video posted by the Instagram account only in Dade shows a woman having a friend lift her over the fence so she could sneak into the party, while another woman was seen swimming in the water outside Hochstein’s estate, possibly trying to enter via Biscayne Bay rather than land.
We’re also told the VIP fête completely jammed traffic getting on and off the posh Star Island, which is only accessible by one bridge.
“My friends and I had to walk all the way over the bridge and a few blocks down just to get an Uber that wouldn’t cancel on us,” the second source says. “We were trapped for a while.”
However, another insider insists to Pvnew that the party was “invite-only” and there were “no issues and no one got kicked out.”
“If you were not on the list, you did not gain entry,” the insider says. “We know at events like Art basel people want to party crash, and it’s always taken into account when planning to ensure it doesn’t disrupt the event flow.”
Those actually on the guest list for the star-studded soiree “had a blast” and enjoyed tunes spun by Guy Gerber and bites by Sushi By Bou, a partygoer /confirm/is.
In a wild display, chefs presented a giant tuna with a grand entrance through the crowded dance floor. The enormous fish was then sliced up with a sword-like carving knife in front of stunned partygoers and served up in sushi and sashimi form.
Hochstein, 57, was seen enjoying a personal platter of maki and flitting around the party to chat with invited guests, some of whom arrived by yacht.
Notable attendees included Tyga, Yvonne Orji, Chanel Iman, Cuba Gooding Jr., Chris Appleton, Simon Rex and Batsheva Haart.
The plastic surgeon has been residing in the gargantuan abode with his fiancée, Katharina Mazepa amid his nasty divorce from Lisa Hochstein.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 41, was angling to keep the Star Island home following their May 2022 separation but moved out this September after a court ordered her to pack up her belongings and exit the premises.
A source told us at the time that Lenny made Lisa’s move out “awkward” and “chaotic” when he unexpectedly arrived on the scene to “monitor” her.
“He made the move really uncomfortable. She was trying to do her best to get everything done,” one insider shared.
“He kept interfering. He should have been at work.”
We were also told that Lenny called the police on his estranged wife when he believed she had taken belongings that should have stayed in the house.
“He berated her,” the source said. “He was being a drama queen and trying to intimidate her.”
Lisa, who shares two children with Lenny, moved into a nearby condo, and she has since moved on with a new boyfriend, Jody Glidden.
While Lisa wasn’t in attendance at her ex’s basel event, she did celebrate Art Week by hitting E11even nightclub with Glidden, Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan earlier in the week.
A source told us exclusively that the couples were out partying and drinking tequila until 4 a.m. Thursday.
Private parties took over the coastal Floridian city during this year’s Art Week.

Tom Brady and Leonardo DiCaprio were seen partying together at Wayne and Cynthia Boich’s star-studded mansion, where Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg performed. Brady also brushed shoulders with on-off gal pal Irina Shayk at DiCaprio’s charity event at SuperBlue.
Lori Harvey, Aly Raisman and Dale Moss, meanwhile, attended Play by American Express Platinum at the Miami Beach Edition.
And earlier in the week, Dwyane Wade was seen dancing as Juvenile performed at the Porsche Presents: Art and Music event at Soho Beach House.
