Alix Earle refuses to let “homewrecker” accusations slide, especially given her family history.
The TikToker finally addressed months-long fan speculation that her boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, cheated on his ex Sophia Culpo with her.
Earle, 22, told Alex Cooper on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast Wednesday that being called a “mistress” was “triggering” and that friends witnessed her “bawling [her] eyes out” after she read negative social media comments.
“I spent my childhood basically thinking that this is the worst thing you could do to another human,” she said, referencing her dad Thomas “TJ” Earle’s affair with former New York governor Eliot Spitzer’s then-call girl. “So why the f–k would I do that?”
(The TikToker’s parents split in 2008 after TJ was caught cheating on wife Alisa with Ashley Dupré. The pair married in 2013.)
After insisting that Culpo, 26, and Berrios, 27, “were not together” when she started seeing him, Alix blamed the “Culpo Sisters” star for starting the rumors.
“The ex-girlfriend had started posting things alluding to unfaithfulness in the relationship online, and I was seen hanging out with this guy,” she explained. “So everyone kind of just pointed fingers at me.”
The influencer recalled requesting “receipts” from the Miami Dolphins wide receiver “right away,” calling herself “more psycho” than his ex.
“I was like, ‘There’s just no f–king way this happened,'” Alix continued. “I was checking everything. We have probably been over this 110 times because I was like, ‘If you did that to a person, obviously of course, you’ll probably do that to me, too.'”
Berrios began dating Culpo in 2021, with news breaking two years later that the duo had called it quits.
In June, the NFL player set the record straight on his alleged infidelity after Culpo shaded his and Alix’s romance.
“I’ve been quiet because it’s totally out of character for me to talk about my private life, publicly,” he said via Instagram Stories. “But I feel like it needed to be touched on now.”
Berrios clarified that his previous relationship ended in January and “had nothing to do with anybody else” — which Culpo subsequently denied in a since-deleted TikTok video alleging they still had been together in February.
Berrios and Alix confirmed their romance in a June TikTok video, making their red carpet debut the following month at the ESPY Awards.
The social media star previously dated former New York Yankees player Tyler Wade in 2022.
Alix admitted on “Call Her Daddy” that she is anxious to “tell the truth” on her upcoming podcast, “Hot Mess with Alix Earle,” which is being produced by Cooper’s Unwell Network.
