They’re not amigas.
Alexis Bellino distanced herself from Shannon Beador after the “Real Housewives of Orange County” stars were spotted at the same restaurant right before the latter’s DUI arrest.
“When my girlfriends and I arrived for a fun night out together, it was soon brought to my attention that Shannon was also at the same restaurant,” Bellino told TMZ Tuesday.
In response to an eyewitness claiming to the outlet that Beador, 59, was overheard “bitching” about Bellino, 46, “to other people nearby,” the former “Housewife” said, “Shannon and I did not interact that night, but it greatly saddens me to learn that she may harbor negative feelings or resentment toward me, as I was not involved in Jim Bellino’s lawsuit against Shannon.”
Alexis concluded her statement, “From one single mother to another, I wish Shannon nothing but the best, as I know she is facing trying times ahead.”
Reps for Beador did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
Alexis was a full-time “Housewife” in Seasons 5 through 8 of “RHOC” before she exited the show in 2013. Beador didn’t join the Bravo reality show until 2014, so fans haven’t seen them interact with each other on screen. However, Alexis’ ex-husband, Jim, filed a $1 million defamation lawsuit against Beador and fellow “RHOC” star Tamra Judge in 2018.
Jim, 61, alleged Beador and Judge, 56, had made harmful comments about his business and relationship with Alexis during an appearance on Heather McDonald’s “Juicy Scoop” podcast.
During a subsequent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Judge and Beador claimed they were “just poking fun” at the Bellinos, and the case was later dismissed.
The bad blood apparently is still going strong, as TMZ’s eyewitness claimed Beador was bad-mouthing Alexis while drinking Saturday night with her friend Steve Muller at A Restaurant in Newport Beach, Calif.
Pvnew confirmed Monday that Beador had been arrested early Sunday for hit-and-run and driving under the influence of alcohol.
A video of the incident showed the reality star driving fast around a tight corner before losing control of her vehicle and slamming into the side of a house. She narrowly missed the building’s front door but damaged the concrete outside, according to photos obtained by Pvnew exclusively.
Despite the drunken crash, Beador reversed her car and fled the scene. TMZ reported that she then parked her vehicle “in the middle of the street,” and when she was questioned by police, she told them she was “just walking her pup.”
The cops didn’t believe her story, so she was booked for two misdemeanors.
“She is extremely apologetic and remorseful,” Beador’s attorney, Michael Fell, said in a statement to Pvnew Monday after his client was released on $2,500 bail. “We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.”
Beador’s good friend Jeff Lewis claimed on his SiriusXM radio show, “Jeff Lewis Live,” that the “Housewife” was “injured” and will be “entering counseling,” even though he does not believe she has a drinking problem.
