Shannon Beador reportedly appeared “tipsy” while out at a local bar Saturday night before being arrested for DUI.
According to TMZ, the 59-year-old reality TV personality was drinking with her friend Steve Muller at A Restaurant in Newport Beach, Calif. — just half a mile away from the residential building she crashed into later that night.
Eyewitnesses told the outlet that Beador made a scene while chatting with Muller, flailing her arms in the air and talking loud enough that nearby patrons could hear what she was saying.
In fact, the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star reportedly spent most of the night bad-mouthing former castmate Alexis Bellino, who was also in the bar.
Bellino told TMZ in a statement that she and Beador didn’t speak that night, despite the latter seemingly having plenty to say about her.
“When my girlfriends and I arrived for a fun night out together, it was soon brought to my attention that Shannon was also at the same restaurant,” Bellino said. “Shannon and I did not interact that night, but it greatly saddens me to learn that she may harbor negative feelings or resentment toward me.”
The Bravo alum, 46, also noted that she “was not involved” in her ex-husband Jim Bellino’s 2018 defamation lawsuit against Beador and Tamra Judge.
“From one single mother to another, I wish Shannon nothing but the best as I know she is facing trying times ahead,” Bellino concluded.
Reps for Beador did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
Just hours after Beador’s alleged wild night out, she was arrested for driving under the influencer after slamming into the side of a house.
On Tuesday, TMZ obtained video of the scary accident, showing the reality TV star zooming around a tight corner before losing control of her vehicle.
Beador narrowly missed the building’s front door, but damaged the home’s exterior and landscape, per photos obtained Pvnew.
Despite the damage, Beador immediately reversed and fled the scene before parking her car “in the middle of the street,” per TMZ.
When Beador, who reportedly had her dog in the car, was questioned by police, she told them that she “was just walking her pup.”
However, the cops didn’t believe her story and she was later booked for hit-and-run and driving under the influence of alcohol — two misdemeanors.
After the Bravolebrity was released on $2,500 bail, her lawyer, Mike Fell, told us that she was “extremely apologetic and remorseful” and “prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.”
Meanwhile, Beador’s good friend Jeff Lewis revealed that she was “injured” in the accident on his SiriusXM radio show, “Jeff Lewis Live.”
While he didn’t disclose the severity of her injuries, he noted Beador will be “entering counseling” — despite the fact that he doesn’t believe she has an alcohol problem.
“I don’t think Shannon is an alcoholic,” Lewis said. “As her close friend, I think she’s going through a lot of personal struggles right now, and I think that she probably has been leaning on alcohol. But I don’t believe she’s an alcoholic.”
