She is in her feelings.
Halle Berry slammed Drake after he used an image of her getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards as the cover art for his new single.
“[Drake] didn’t get my permission,” the “Catwoman” star wrote via Instagram Friday in response to a fan asking what she thought of the Canadian rapper using her face for the cover of his latest track, “Slime You Out.”
“That’s not cool. I thought better of him!” Berry, 57, added.
The “Bruised” actress also shared a photo of a meme on Instagram that read, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … Even if you’re a woman!”
Berry told another fan in the comments section that the cryptic post was shared as a direct response to Drake’s new cover art.
“When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!” she wrote.
The Academy Award-winning actress’ response comes days after the “Fair Trade” rapper posted a photo to his Instagram Wednesday to promote his newest single with SZA.
The snap showed Berry’s face covered in green slime at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Fans expressed their support for the “Monster’s Ball” actress in the comments section, including one user who wrote that Berry is an “international treasure” and that Drake’s use of her face for his promotional material wasn’t “cool.”
However, others said Berry’s own social media post was an overreaction since she has gushed over his use of her face in the past.
“Man no way you really mad with dude for using that old ass photo ?” one fan wrote, adding, “He didn’t get your permission to wear you on his jacket that time and you weren’t upset.”
In 2019, Drake famously wore a leather jacket featuring an airbrushed depiction of Berry’s James Bond character, Jinx Johnson, from her film “Die Another Day.”
At the time, Berry was quick to reciprocate the love on her own Instagram feed, wearing a shirt with the words “Here for a good time not a long time” printed on the front.
“Wayy up I feel blessed,” she added in the caption, which were both references to Drake and Big Sean’s song “Blessings.”
Drake’s newest drama-stirring single is a part of his upcoming album, “For All the Dogs,” which he announced would be released on Oct. 6 via his Instagram Story Friday night.
Although the “God’s Plan” artist, 36, used Berry’s face for his single, his forthcoming album art features a drawing created by his 5-year-old son, Adonis.
Pvnew reached out to Drake’s reps for a response to Berry’s remarks, but did not immediately hear back in time for publication. He has also not addressed the criticism online.
