Six months after trashing Britney Spears as an abusive cheater, the actor declared in a new interview that he only has fond memories of their yearlong marriage.

“That’s something I’m never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that’s always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life.”
While Asghari himself never spoke badly of Spears publicly, sources close to the fitness model were quick to blame the “Toxic” singer for the former couple’s split.
Last summer, TMZ reported that Asghari was “telling people” he suspected his wife had “hooked up with at least one of the male staff members working at her home.”
The outlet also said the 6-foot-2 muscleman had “frequently complained” about 5-foot-4 Spears physically attacking him.
Sources close to Spears told Pvnew at the time that there was no truth to the myriad of allegations against the Grammy winner, though we later confirmed that she had been seeing her former housekeeper Paul Richard Soliz at one point.
Spears and Asghari met in October 2016 when he starred in her “Slumber Party” music video. They got engaged in September 2021 and married at her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., in June 2022.
Pvnew previously reported that the pair signed a prenuptial agreement to protect the “Crossroads” star’s multimillion-dollar fortune.
Sources also told us that Asghari would not get any money from the sales of Spears’ memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which hit stores in October 2023 and quickly topped the New York Times’ bestseller list.
The former Mouseketeer was previously married to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons: Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17.
