Dina Manzo’s ex-husband got a slight break in his racketeering case — but it may not last.
Tommy Manzo was accused of hiring a Lucchese crime family member to attack the former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star’s new husband, Dave Cantin, but the case has been dismissed on the grounds that it took too long and violated the federal Speedy Trial Act.
Although the feds agreed, they requested in their filing that the Newark, NJ, judge dismiss the case without prejudice, meaning they could reindict Tommy on new charges.

Judge Susan Wigenton agreed, and now prosecutors have until April to secure a new trial provided they succeed in securing another grand jury indictment.
“Mr. Manzo is pleased that the court dismissed the indictment,” defense attorney Zach Intrater said in a statement to The Post Sunday. “He is looking to move forward with his life and career.”
A spokesman for the New Jersey US Attorney’s Office declined to comment.
Feds indicted Tommy, 57, in 2020 after he allegedly hired capo John Perna to beat up Cantin, Dina’s then-boyfriend, in return for a discounted wedding rate at the Manzo family’s catering hall, The Brownstone in Paterson, NJ.
Perna and another member of his crew caught Cantin by surprise in a parking lot in 2015 and allegedly beat him, leaving him battered and scarred.
Perna pleaded guilty to committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity and spent three years in prison. He was released in August 2023.
Tommy has been charged with committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering, conspiracy and falsifying and concealing records related to a federal investigation.
Tommy and the former Bravolebrity married in 2005 but went their separate ways after he allegedly cheated on her. They officially divorced in 2016.
Dina, 51, and Cantin, 44, got engaged shortly after they started dating. They married in June 2017 and left Jersey to move to California.
