Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian was shaken after being rushed to a hospital for urgent fetal surgery, but she is feeling better with Travis Barker by her side.
“[Kardashian] was very scared after finding out that her baby needed a surgery,” a source told People Thursday. “She didn’t want to talk about what was going on.”
However, the Lemme founder, 44, is reportedly “doing OK now” thanks to Barker, 47, being there for support while she recuperates.
“She is still resting at home with Travis,” the insider added.
Last week, Blink-182 had to postpone their European tour launch after their drummer suddenly rushed back to Los Angeles for a family emergency.
“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis had to return home to the States,” the band tweeted. “The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.”
It wasn’t immediately known why Barker flew home, but he set off alarm bells when he posted pictures from a prayer room as he flew from Scotland to the US.
The next day, Kardashian was seen leaving an LA hospital still visibly pregnant with the musician by her side, and a source told People that she was “feeling better” and “happy to have Travis back home, too.”
The “Kardashians” star broke her silence on the medical emergency Wednesday, sharing that she had to undergo “urgent fetal surgery” after experiencing a complication with her pregnancy.
“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
Kardashian shared that the procedure was a success and her baby’s life was saved.
“Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.
