“90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way” star Mary Denucciõ apologized for fundraising money to treat cancer she never had.
Taking to her Instagram Story Wednesday, the 23-year-old reality star declared that she “made a mistake” and she’s “just human.”
Explaining how that “mistake” could have happened, she wrote, “When the doctor told me I have a colon issue I thought that means I have cancer.”
“I got [an] anxiety attack and I thought I have colon cancer and posted it without thinking.”
“I’m just a human,” Denucciõ continued.

“I’m in pain right now and the pain won’t go away. I kept throwing up and I feel so weak.”
Clarifying the state of her health, she added, “The doctor says my liver is inflamed and I have blood infection, UTI and hemorrhoids. We are still waiting for another laboratory test for my colon.”
In addition to apologizing, the mother of one asked fans to stop “harassing” her about her lapse in judgment.
Denucciõ and her husband, Brandan Denucciõ, first claimed she had cancer over the weekend when he shared a link to a fundraising page on his Instagram Story, according to People.
The page, which has since been deleted, asked fans to donate funds for the upcoming medical costs they would incur as she tried to get rid of her cancer.
“Please don’t judge me [sic] I don’t want to die,” the influencer penned. “I want to spend my whole life with my daughter.”
Mary claimed she had been diagnosed last Friday after seeking help for symptoms she had been experiencing since high school.
She and Brandan tied the knot in July 2023, and their wedding aired during Season 5 of “Day Fiancé: The Other Way” last fall.
They are parents to one daughter, whom they welcomed ahead of their wedding after originally promising to stay celibate to respect her family’s traditional values.
“Brandan is here now in person, and I really love him and I feel ready to give my all to him,” Mary explained of their decision to backtrack on their promise.
“You know, we’re humans.”
