Joe Jonas was in dad mode as he took his two daughters to breakfast in Sherman Oaks, Calif., Wednesday morning.
In his first public outing since filing for divorce from Sophie Turner, the Jonas Brothers member was photographed carrying his 3-year-old daughter, Willa, into Sweet Butter Kitchen while an unidentified female companion held his 1-year-old, whose name has yet to be released.
The foursome, who sat outside, seemed to be in great spirits during the outing, with Jonas making funny faces to keep the little ones entertained.
The 34-year-old was also photographed giving his eldest a high five as they chowed down on the breakfast spread.
Despite the hectic week, Jonas looked laid back in jeans, a black tank top layered under a yellow and black striped button-up.
While the “Cake By The Ocean” singer noticeably ditched his wedding ring, he accessorized with a black and tan baseball hat and pendant necklace.
What you need to know about Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's split
Joe Jonas filed for divorce from wife Sophie Turner on Sept. 5, 2023, after four years of marriage.
The couple have two children together.
A source claims the pair had “many disagreements,” and the divorce was a “last resort” for Jonas.
Jonas is seeking “shared parental responsibility” with his estranged wife.
The children are said to live primarily with Jonas, and the singer is said to be caring for them “pretty much all the time.”
Turner’s penchant for partying is believed to have factored into the split, and a source said the pair have “very different lifestyles.”
Turner is suing Jonas to return their two daughters to England.
The actress claims she found out her estranged husband filed for divorce “through the media.“
Jonas blasted the lawsuit, saying it goes against an “amicable co-parenting setup.”
Following the brief breakfast, the group left in a black SUV.
The outing comes just one day after the “Waffle House” singer filed for divorce from his wife of four years.
According to the filing, Jonas stated that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” and noted that their two children had been residing primarily with him. However, he requested that a judge grant them “shared parental responsibility.”
Although the pair insisted that their split was a “united decision,” multiple sources told TMZ that Jonas decided to terminate their marriage after hearing — or seeing — something about the “Game of Thrones” actress on their Ring doorbell camera.
However, the insiders did not reveal what the alleged incriminating footage was.
Other sources close to the couple claimed to the outlet that it simply came down to differing lifestyles, with Turner, 27, preferring to party while Jonas wanted to stay home.
However, in a resurfaced video from 2020, the former couple insisted that it was actually the other way around.
Regardless, insiders told Pvnew earlier this week that Jonas had been “unhappy” for a long time before deciding to pull the plug.
“Divorce was a last resort for Joe. He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls,” a source told us.
“An unhappy home isn’t a home, and the truth is that he and Sophie were going through it this year.”
The former couple started dating in 2016 and tied the knot during an elopement in Las Vegas three years later.
Yet before they said “I do,” the couple signed an “ironclad prenup” which protected Jonas’ music royalties and the actress’ acting residuals.
