The “Princess of Montecito” isn’t going anywhere.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — who currently reside in a $14 million Montecito, Calif., mansion — are not planning to move to Malibu despite reports that they recently toured an $8 million plot of land, a rep for the pair tells Pvnew exclusively.
“There is no truth to them moving to Malibu or anywhere,” the spokesperson said Tuesday, adding that the Sussexes were not even in the California beach town over the weekend.
Instead, the duke and duchess spent their weekend attending high-profile events in Los Angeles, which is about 29 miles east of Malibu.
The pair first attended Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour at SoFi Stadium on Friday, and Harry watched Inter Miami play Los Angeles FC two days later.
The “Suits” alum couldn’t get enough of Queen Bey and attended a second show on Tuesday — this time without her hubby.
Harry, 38, and Markle, 42, were rumored to have looked at a nearly six-acre property that is still under construction in the ritzy coastal destination where many celebrities, including Miley Cyrus and Caitlyn Jenner, live.
A source claimed the royal couple wanted to sell their Montecito home and relocate to Malibu with their son, Prince Archie, 4, and daughter, Princess Lilibet, 2.
The pair purchased their nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom 18,000-square-foot manor in Montecito for a staggering $14,650,000 in 2020.
The couple’s current estate features a tennis court, teahouse, children’s cottage, pool and rose gardens as well as a two-bed guesthouse.
The Sussexes moved into the mansion shortly after they both resigned from their positions as senior royals and moved to the United States, where they have since made quite an impression on the locals.
The pair, who wed in 2018, have been rubbing shoulders with Hollywood’s elite, and neighbors even dubbed Markle the “Princess of Montecito” last year due to her alleged diva-like behavior in the area.
