Prince Harry is already leaving the UK after briefly visiting his father, King Charles III, following the reigning monarch’s cancer diagnosis.
The Duke of Sussex was spotted hopping on a plane at Heathrow Airport in London on Wednesday after seeing his father for less than an hour the day before, according to the Daily Mail.
His estranged brother, Prince William, meanwhile, resumed his royal duties on Wednesday while hosting an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Pvnew previously reported that Harry met up with Charles at Clarence House for “a quick visit” on Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, the redheaded royal had been seen landing in London before making his way to his father’s side without his wife, Meghan Markle.
Pvnew was previously told that the Duchess of Sussex had stayed in California to remain home with the couple’s two kids: Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.
Harry immediately got on a flight to see his dad after the palace announced Monday that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer.
“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” the palace said in a statement.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.
“Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.”
Charles appeared to be in good spirits as he and his wife, Queen Camilla, departed Clarence House on Tuesday after Harry’s visit.
Harry’s meeting with his dad marks the first time the father-son duo have had a formal gathering since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.
The duke has been on icy terms with the king since he and Markle resigned from their royal positions in 2020 and moved to California — after which the couple have repeatedly bashed the monarchy.
Still, Charles has every intention of making things right with his son, and their gathering on Tuesday could indicate that they are on their way to ending their rift.
“[Charles] desperately wants to reconcile with Harry,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told “Entertainment Tonight” Tuesday.
Nicholl added that “for Charles, the door has always been left open regardless of some of the things Harry has written.”
Harry famously dragged his father and brother, William, in his bombshell memoir “Spare.”
Despite airing the family’s dirty laundry, Harry attended the king’s coronation in May 2023 without Markle — though he didn’t stay for long. Harry and Markle also recently had a phone call with the king on his 75th birthday.
While Harry and Charles may be squashing their beef, it’s unclear whether the Prince of Wales — who is next in the line of succession to the British throne — is ready to forgive and forget.
