Mandy Moore has fond memories of her ex Andy Roddick.
The “This Is Us” star gushed over the former tennis player via Instagram Monday despite not being “in touch” with him and his wife, Brooklyn Decker.
“Andy was a really formative part of my young adult life,” she wrote on her Story. “I was really moved by this [GQ] article reflecting on the 20th anniversary of his US Open win and the kind of life he’s lead [sic] since.
“I’m so happy for him and his family. Congrats on this milestone, Andy!”
Roddick, who dated Moore from 2003 to 2004, has not reacted to the actress’ social media upload.
Decker, however, had an exchange with Moore, 39, while sending her own well-wishes to her partner.
After the model, 36, thanked the magazine for profiling Roddick, 40, “thoughtfully, thoroughly and fairly,” the “Candy” singer commented how much she “loved” the story.
In turn, Decker called Moore a “class act,” writing, “You were a huge part of his life (and actually there) during that time.”
The “Grace and Frankie” star began dating the athlete in 2007, and the couple got engaged the following year.
Since tying the knot in 2009 in Texas, they have welcomed son Hank, 7, and daughter Stevie, 5.
As for Moore, she is married to Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith, with whom she shares sons Gus, 2, and Oscar, 11 months.
Before the Emmy nominee gave birth to her eldest son in February 2021, Decker revealed to Us Weekly that she sent the new mom a present.
“I have never met her in person,” the “Just Go With It” star clarified in 2020. “She is, as we all know, the kindest, most generous gem of a human. I have yet to give her a squeeze.”
The previous year, Decker joked about “resent[ing]” Moore for getting Roddick’s “good years,” from “the hair” to “the US Open Championship” in 2003.
