Viva Las Vegas.
Travis Kelce may be one of the greatest tight end players of all time, but he’s also one of the most stylish men in the NFL. And as such, it’s only right that he carefully plan out his pre-game outfits — especially for the 2024 Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs athlete, 34, appeared on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday to answer questions about the team’s AFC Championship playoff against the Baltimore Ravens, his relationship with Taylor Swift and, of course, the upcoming game.
When asked what he might wear to face off against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11, Kelce told McAfee he’s going to let the spirit of the city influence him.
“I got a few different things that I got in the closet that I might pull out. But you already know, man, we’re in Vegas, baby,” he said.
“The lights are on, man. You might see me in a Sinatra, in an Elvis Presley [outfit],” Kelce continued. “I might have to bring out all the bells and whistles for this one.”
Perhaps the Pro Bowler will bring out his controversial T-shirt from Las Vegas strip club Crazy Horse 3 for his big moment?
And while the “New Heights” podcast host is definitely known for his fashion sense and is even in the running to be crowned GQ’s Most Stylish NFL Player, Kelce isn’t afraid to admit that some of his past looks have been a bust.
“I’ve had my days where I’ve looked like an asshole, for sure,” he shared.
While it’s not exactly clear which looks the NFL pro regrets, the “Catching Kelce” star revealing that it takes him at least three hours to sort through his massive closet and decide on a look.
At the start of the 2023 season, he was roasted online for a pair of velvet pants that fans compared to the curtains seen in promotional clips for then-rumored girlfriend Swift’s “Midnights” album.
“Obviously, not every look is for everybody,” he told the Wall Street Journal after the October incident. “I’m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what it is, I’m gonna have fun with it.”
In fact, the champ has worn plenty of clothing that Swifties have connected to the “Cruel Summer” singer, including an “Evermore”-style flannel shirt, an all-denim look with a nod to her “1989” album and a striped turtleneck fans likened to the Cheesecake Factory’s takeout bags.
With the footballer skipping out on joining Swift at the 2024 Grammys so he can begin his Super Bowl prep, we can’t wait to see his last tunnel ‘fit of the season.
