Ariana Grande and her boyfriend, Ethan Slater, put on a united front on Sunday after the singer received backlash for seemingly flaunting their scandalous relationship in her new song, “Yes, And?”
They were spotted arriving at New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport along with the “Positions” singer’s dog Toulouse.
As they made their way to the airport’s exit, the couple was greeted by Ariana’s mom, Joan Grande, who handed them two bouquets of flowers and balloons.
It appeared Slater and the songstress didn’t want to be seen as they kept things low-key with all black matching outfits and face masks.
The Grammy winner also hid behind a “Wicked” baseball cap.
Their sighting comes after Ariana, 30, seemingly hit back at haters for the backlash she received for her relationship with Slater, 31.
Earlier this month, the hitmaker released “Yes, And?” and some of the lyrics seem to suggest she’s addressing her relationship and whether or not it started while they were both married to other people.
“Your business is yours, and mine is mine,” she sings.
“Why do you care so much whose — I ride?” the lyrics continue, with listeners assuming she’s referring to d–k.
While the song appears to be Ariana’s way of addressing her critics, it only intensified the online chatter.
Following the track’s release, Grande was labeled a “homewrecker” by fans on social media, who continue to theorize that her relationship with Slater is what broke up his marriage with his estranged wife, Lilly Jay.
“this woman is so ugly and nasty. like you f–ked a whole-ass married man and you’re the victim???,” one critic wrote.
“No one cares whose d–k you suck. But don’t forget what you did,” another chimed in.
The “Thank U, Next” songstress and Slater met on the set of the film adaptation of “Wicked” in London last year.
Pvnew confirmed in July that Ariana and her co-star were dating while she was still wed to Dalton Gomez, 28, and he to Jay.
Three days later, it was revealed the “7 Rings” singer called it quits with her husband after two years of marriage.
The former couple quickly finalized their divorce in October 2023.
As for Slater, he filed for divorce from Jay days after his relationship with the Grammy winner surfaced.
At the time, an insider told us that the “Spamalot” Broadway star, who shares a 1-year-old son with Jay, left his high school sweetheart “completely blindsided.”
That same month, Jay broke her silence on her estranged husband’s new romance, referring to Ariana as “not a girls’ girl,” and for allegedly using her family as “collateral damage.”
Ariana recently hinted at the controversy surrounding her relationship with a 2023 roundup post via her Instagram Story in December.
“i have never felt more pride or joy or love while simultaneously feeling so deeply misunderstood by people who don’t know me, who piece whispers together and make what they want out of me and their assumptions of my life,” she wrote.
“i have never felt more tightly held or fiercely protected by those who love and understand me (friends, family, and fans alike),” the “Boyfriend” singer continued. “I feel safe, even amidst so many things i’d usually be afraid of.”
Despite the ongoing hate, Ariana and Slater continue to flaunt their romance as they’ve stepped out for dinner together numerous times in New York City.
The “Dangerous Woman” hitmaker also supported her man as he took the stage for “Spamalot” in November.
