She definitely can’t be tamed.
Miley Cyrus is teasing new music in a latex cone bra and hot pants in posters plastered all over Los Angeles promoting her forthcoming song “Used to Be Young.”
In the black and white posters, the former “Hannah Montana” star wore a black latex bustier and matching high-waisted boy shorts from Margiela’s Fall 2023 RTW collection by John Galliano – which some think is hinting at her infamous 2013 VMA performance outfit.
For the controversial performance, Miley wore a similar nude latex bra and panties, which she revealed to the audience only after taking off a bear onesie for her performance of “We Can’t Stop” and “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke.
The posters included lyrics from past and apparently future songs, reading: “I SAY I USED TO BE YOUNG,” “I CAN BUY MYSELF FLOWERS,” “I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL” and “I CAN ALMOST SEE IT THAT DREAM I’M DREAMING.”
The “Flowers” singer has yet to promote the single on her own Instagram page, where she’s been relatively quiet since canceling her tour in May because she didn’t want to “sleep on a moving bus” or get ready “in a locker room.”
In another promotional shot for the upcoming single, Cyrus, 30, showed off a silver sequined peplum top, fishnet tights with a sequined cap and sunglasses also from Margiela’s collection.
For the photoshoot, the Disney alum was styled by Bradley Kenneth, who’s also behind the black spandex swimsuit she wore on her “Endless Summer Vacation” album cover and her more recent leopard print rocker style.
Miley has a long history of wearing barely-there ensembles, including the chainmail top she hosted New Year’s Eve in before it snapped and fell off.
Cyrus has also starred in many topless photoshoots for brands and magazines – including a particularly memorable Interview spread in $1,100 Gucci panties.
Guess it keeps her young.
