Vinny Guadagnino reveals on Pvnew’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast that he won’t be pursuing newly single Sophie Turner because he’s old pals with her now-estranged husband, Joe Jonas.
“I actually was … friends with Joe at a certain point, so that might get a little messy,” the “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” star, 35, says while promoting Season 2 of “All Star Shore.”
“I hung out with him in Vegas for one weekend and I think this was, like, in more of the off years with the Jonas Brothers.”
Guadagnino says he and Jonas, 34, have mutual friends, which provided them the opportunity to hang out years ago in Sin City — where the “Burnin’ Up” singer notably wed Turner, 27, at Chapel L’Amour in 2019.
“I have friends that know Joe and we were just partying,” the MTV personality adds. “He’s a good guy.”
Although he won’t be trying to date Turner any time soon, Guadagnino is appreciative of the “Game of Thrones” actress’ rumored love for his reality show.
“[The ‘Jersey Shore’ cast has] heard that a lot over the years and that means a lot,” he gushes, “because I’m a huge ‘Game of Thrones’ fan.”
Jonas filed divorce paperwork in Miami on Sept. 5, stating that his and Turner’s marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
A source previously told Pvnew that the pair — who share daughter, Willa, 3, and another daughter born in 2022 whose name is yet to be revealed — had “many disagreements” and that the divorce was a “last resort” for Jonas.
Since then, their uncoupling has become quite contentious with Turner suing Jonas to return their children to England. Through his legal team, the musician has railed against the lawsuit, saying it goes against an “amicable co-parenting setup.”
Amid the drama, both parties have been spotted in New York City. Turner spent time with her friend and fellow Jonas ex Taylor Swift, while the “Cake by the Ocean” crooner hung out with his younger brother and bandmate, Nick Jonas.
“All Star Shore” Season 2 premieres Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
