Travis Kelce is keeping his bye week options open.
Despite a recent report that the Kansas City Chiefs player will use the time off he has until his Nov. 20 game to visit Taylor Swift on the international leg of her Eras Tour, he “never like[s] to plan things” on bye weeks.
“You just don’t know how healthy you’re gonna be or how you’re gonna feel whether you’re winning or losing,” the athlete explained on Wednesday’s episode of his and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
“I’m not trying to go and f–king be out and about if we’re out here losing,” he continued — before expressing relief over his Missouri-based team’s “fortunate” 7-2 record this season.
Travis clarified that his only goal is to “get as healthy as possible going into arguably the biggest game … on the schedule” against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I definitely got the future in mind and got to get this body right,” the 34-year-old said.
The NFL player’s comments come nearly one month after Entertainment Tonight alleged he plans to visit Swift overseas during the Argentina leg of her tour, which kicks off Nov. 9.

“Travis is planning to be there to spend time with her,” an insider told the outlet in October. “Travis and Taylor are very serious about their careers, and the two bond over that and want to show support for each other whenever they can.”
The source added that the duo were “all in” on their romance and “planning for the future.”
Pvnew did not hear back from reps for both Travis and Swift at the time.
The pair’s connection first made headlines in September, two months after the two-time Super Bowl winner tried and failed to give Swift his phone number at a concert.
The “Cruel Summer” singer has since supported Kelce at four out of his six most recent games.
While Swift did not attend his Miami Dolphins match in Germany on Sunday, she did seemingly host a viewing party with fellow Kansas City WAGs.
Not only were Shane Buechele and Blake Bell respective wives, Paige Buechele and Lyndsay Bell, photographed leaving the performer’s New York City apartment over the weekend, but Brittany Mahomes posted Instagram photos of the group drinking champagne.
Swift also took Patrick Mahomes’ wife out for a girls’ night with Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez and more A-listers on Saturday.
