Travis Scott appears to shade his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s beau, Timothée Chalamet, on his new album, “Utopia.”
In a song called “Meltdown,” Scott raps about “chocolate” and “the Willy Wonka factory” before telling an unnamed former lover to try finding “another flame hot as me, bitch.”
Chalamet notably plays the fictional chocolatier in the upcoming movie “Wonka,” so it didn’t take long for fans to blow up social media with theories about the rapper, 32, seemingly dissing the Oscar-nominated actor, 27, in his lyrics to the track, which was released Friday.
“never in my life would I’ve thought to witness travis scott dissing timothee chalamet,” one fan tweeted.
“not him rapping about how Willy Wonka stole his girl,” another user wrote.
“Travis Scott thinking he’s hotter than Timothée Charlamet [sic] is top tier comedy,” a third person jabbed.
“Travis Scott going after timothee…. Oh man that wasn’t on my bingo but here we are ig [I guess],” someone else chimed in.
“if i lost my girl to willy wonka i would NOT be drawing more attention to it
