Reese Witherspoon graced the Golden Globes 2024 red carpet Sunday alongside her eldest son, Deacon Phillippe.
The “Legally Blonde” star stunned in a strapless black gown topped with a pink bow.
The actress, 47, complemented the classic look with a dazzling silver necklace.
She also accessorized with a matching bracelet and diamond earrings.
Her 20-year-old son — who looked like a mini-me of father Ryan Phillippe — opted for a classic black tuxedo for his first awards show.
Deacon told PvNew that his mom gave him three pieces of advice for his Golden Globes debut: “Gum, hand sanitizer and be nice to everyone.”
When asked if he had a curfew, the aspiring musician said, “We’ll see. I’m following her tonight. She’s the party animal. I’m going to try to keep up.”
In addition to Deacon — who was recently slammed as a “nepo baby” for his luxe NYC digs — Witherspoon also shares daughter Ava Phillippe with her ex-husband, Ryan.
The two tied the knot in 1999 and later split in 2008.
The former couple, who have continued to have an amicable relationship, were both spotted at their son’s album release party in March last year.
In 2011, Witherspoon married Jim Toth, with whom she later welcomed son Tennessee in 2012.
However, the two announced they were divorcing in March 2023.
“We have some personal news to share,” the Oscar winner wrote in a statement posted to Instagram at the time. “It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
In their settlement, the pair agreed to joint custody of the 11-year-old.
A source told People at the time that both Witherspoon and the talent agent were “committed” to co-parenting their son together despite the breakup.
“They love Tennessee, and this is their focus,” an insider shared.
“They don’t want the divorce to affect him negatively. They will continue to co-parent amicably. There is no drama.”
