Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard and their kids were left “stranded” after getting “kicked out” of the Logan International Airport in Boston.
The actress documented her family’s travel woes via Instagram Stories Wednesday, writing that they had been stuck for nine hours and “made quite a home” at the gate.
In a video of his own, Shepard showed off Bell’s “bedroom,” which featured $600 worth of blankets and pillows — as well as a single toothbrush — for themselves and daughters Lincoln, 10, and Delta, 8.
“Could have been a really nice hotel, but they’re all taken,” the actor, 48, said in the footage, noting that there were “ZERO vacancies in the greater Boston area.”
Nonetheless, they were told to leave the airport before they could go to bed in their makeshift room. Shepard had just taken a sleeping aid.
“Thankfully we found friends of friends who offered us their attics and accepted us at 1 am!!!!!!” Bell wrote, posting a celebratory photo of their sleeping set-up.
After the family of four spent the night in pals John and Krista’s home, they enjoyed a hike the following morning.
Prior to their nightmare Boston experience, Bell and Shepard spent a scenic vacation in Idaho.
The “Veronica Mars” alum shared snaps from their trip in a July 7 Instagram carousel, keeping her daughters’ faces hidden behind emojis.
She and Shepard have kept Delta and Lincoln private since the little ones’ arrivals in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
The couple do, however, often share funny stories about their girls, from how often they bathe to when they stopped wearing diapers.
On Monday, Bell told “The Kelly Clarkson Show” viewers that her kids order non-alcoholic beers at restaurants.
Noting that Shepard is a “recovering addict,” the “Frozen” star said that people can “judge” her parenting if they want, but she’s not “doing anything wrong.”
