Kelly Clarkson is a “skinny legend” after joking about her weight loss at her Las Vegas residency, “Chemistry…an Intimate Night With Kelly Clarkson.”
In a fan-recorded video shared on TikTok Tuesday, the singer interacted with lucky fans before taking a shot with someone celebrating their 22nd birthday.
As the Grammy winner knelt down to grab the shot, she admitted to having trouble moving around because of her figure-hugging jumpsuit.
“Oh, boy. I really can’t bend in these,” she said. “Dude, this is tight.”
“Like, I lost weight and [my styling team is] like, ‘Let’s get you into this tight s–t.'”
Still, she successfully grabbed and downed the shot to the delight of her cheering fans, one of whom called her a “skinny legend.”
Clarkson’s comment came after she revealed this week that she dropped weight naturally — and not by using Ozempic — after following her doctor’s instructions.
“I’ve been listening to my doctor — a couple years I didn’t,” she told People.
“And 90% of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat — sorry, vegetarians in the world!”
She also credited her move to New York City with helping her maintain a slimmer figure because she’s able to walk more places.
In November, the “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker joked with “Today With Hoda & Jenna” co-host Jenna Bush Hager about going through a “chubby” phase.
“I love losing weight, but here’s the thing,” she added. “Jeans are so hard when you have a butt and a smaller waist.”
Clarkson — who also recently claimed her ex-husband said she wasn’t “sexy” enough to be a judge on “The Voice” — has never been shy about discussing her weight as it fluctuated over the years.
In 2017, she admitted she was super unhappy when she was at her skinniest early in her career.
“When I was really skinny, I wanted to kill myself,” she candidly told Attitude magazine.
“I was miserable, like inside and out, for four years of my life. But no one cared, because aesthetically you make sense.”
“It was a very dark time for me,” Clarkson continued.
“I like wrecked my knees and my feet because all I would do is put in headphones and run. I was at the gym all the time.”
After she slimmed down in 2018, Clarkson revealed she changed her diet and was able to gain control over her undisclosed autoimmune disease and her thyroid issues.
“I literally read this book … It’s basically about how we cook our food, non-GMO, no pesticides, eating really organic,” she noted.
She completely attributed her slimdown to her diet, saying she hadn’t “worked out at all.”
