Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, subtly showed his support for her bestie Selena Gomez’s relatively new relationship with Benny Blanco.
The Kansas City Chiefs player seemingly gave his stamp of approval for Gomez and the music producer’s love by “liking” Instagram photos of the pair attending the Los Angeles Lakers game earlier this week.
The snaps, shared by GQ on Thursday, showed the “Same Old Love” singer and Blanco cuddling up together while sitting courtside as the Lakers faced off against the Miami Heat at Crypto Arena Wednesday.
Gomez, 31, and Blanco, 35, flaunted their love by holding hands throughout the game. At one point, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum intimately rested her head on his shoulder, and in another instance, Blanco was captured kissing her hand.
It’s unclear if Kelce, 34, and Gomez have crossed paths amid his relationship with Swift. The athlete was notably absent from the “Cruel Summer” singer’s 34th birthday festivities last December due to his football schedule.
Meanwhile, Gomez and Blanco have shown plenty of PDA while spending time in New York City to help Swift celebrate another year around the sun.
The “only Murders in the Building” star confirmed that she and Blanco had been dating for six months in mid-December.
Since then, Gomez has shared several photos cozying up to Blanco on social media and they have popped out for adorable date nights.
While Kelce seems to be supportive of Gomez’s union with Blanco, the jury is still out on whether she approves of Swift’s relationship with the “New Heights” podcast host.
A source exclusively told Pvnew last October that Gomez was concerned that Swift’s relationship with Kelce was “moving too fast.”
“Selena thinks Taylor going to games and galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her,” the insider alleged.
“Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena.”
However, another source told Entertainment Tonight that Gomez believes the Grammy winner’s relationship with the athlete is “the real deal” and that she is “a big supporter” of their love.
Swift and Kelce confirmed dating rumors in September 2023 when she attended his game against the Chicago Bears. However, they actually started seeing each other last summer.
“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” the “Bad Blood” singer said in her Time Person of the Year interview last month.
“I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
