Megan Fox has been slammed for asking her Instagram followers to donate to a friend’s GoFundMe rather than coughing up the money herself.

The $30,000 fundraiser — which was set up for her nail tech Brittney Boyce’s father who was diagnosed with cancer — is seeking to raise the same amount that Fox’s fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, spent on a diamond-encrusted manicure last year.

The “Transformers” star took to her Instagram Story Monday night, writing, “my friends dad was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer if you guys are able to help please do.”

Fans of the actress, whose net worth is estimated to be around $8 million, were confused as to why she would request donations on social media rather than picking up the bill herself.

“The highest donation is only $300 and it’s not anonymous. Sis better contribute herself and lead the way,” one person wrote on a Reddit forum.

“If I had as much money as her, I’d cover 100% of a friend’s parent’s medical expenses before I asked strangers to,” another chimed in.

A third fan wrote, “The wealthy should absolutely cover this. Sorry not sorry. Stop hoarding money and asking your much poorer fans to help.”

Another person took to Twitter to express their outrage.

“Millionaire Megan Fox just posted a gofundme on her Instagram story for her friend’s dad’s 30 grand cancer medical bills and I am absolutely speechless,” they wrote.

A second Twitter user added, “megan fox sharing a gofundme for 30k has got to be a joke. as if she isn’t rich as f–k and could help their friend immediately lol.”

At the time of publishing, about $6650 had been raised from 162 donations, and the target goal had been increased to $60,000.

Although Fox is not listed as a donor, it’s possible that she donated anonymously or directly to her friend.

Pvnew has reached out to a rep for the “Jennifer’s Body” star for comment.

Nails of LA founder Brittney Boyce — who created MGK’s pricey manicure for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards — revealed on the GoFundMe page that her father, Michael, had been diagnosed with cancer.

“My dad is the [sic] literally the best person, dad, husband & grandpa this doesn’t seem fair. I know things are tough for everyone right now but if you’re able to donate or share it would really help,” she wrote in the description.

“He picked up his first prescription yesterday and it wasn’t covered by insurance the cost of that alone was $1000 and it’s not even a full month supply.”

“My goal here is to help him w/ medical expenses so he can focus on himself and not the stress on finances,” she continued.

Boyce has previously gushed to Pvnew about Fox and MGK, even saying they were two of her “favorite clients.”

“They like to match,” she told us in 2021.

“No matter what, I’ll always get good nail shots with him, because he loves showing them off so much,” she said of the “Bloody Valentine” rocker.

“With the girls I’m like, ‘Come on, show your nails.’ But he does such a great job with making them an actual accessory,” she continued.

“I mean, part of me would be like, ‘Oh, it’s so cool if [couple’s nail art] does become a trend.’ But the other part of me is like, ‘I just want it to stay theirs.'”
