Madison Beer annihilated a body shamer who told her to lose weight because she was “getting fatter.”
The “Reckless” singer posted three photos on Instagram of herself in a short white dress Sunday, which prompted a male follower to comment, “hey madison i’ve noticed that ur legs and arms are getting fatter..
“please do some cardio because we men only like skinny girls,” the troll continued. “ur face is already perfect, but please we love a thin-waisted girl.”
Beer, 24, snapped back, “i wouldn’t touch you with a 10 ten foot pole if you paid me a million dollars,” according to a screenshot captured by Pop base.
The commenter eventually deleted his unsolicited opinion, but Beer’s fans came to her defense in droves.
“Can’t believe some dudes feel they have the right to comment on someone else’s appearance,” one fan wrote. “Keep slaying.”
Another user commented, “Madison beer you are gorgeous no matter what.”
Beer previously urged social media users to stop “shaming women” after enduring the “traumatizing experience” of her nude photos and videos being leaked online.
“you should not feel shame,” she wrote to herself on Twitter in March 2020. “you were exploring your sexuality, you were learning. you should not feel like you did something wrong. shame on those who betrayed your trust & SHAME ON THOSE WHO SHAMED YOU.”
The “Selfish” singer also said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast earlier this year that she felt “so unsafe” and “scared” after the leak.
“It was so, so hard for so long, and I felt like the whole world had seen the video, and this is also the beginning of having real trigger-able PTSD from the situation,” she explained.
