Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this.
Kelly Clarkson superfans Brian Artzt and Marcello Cialini tied the knot at the pop star’s Las Vegas show Sunday night.
Clarkson — who finalized her contentious divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock in May 2022 — proved she still believes in marriage by helping facilitate the nuptials onstage during “An Intimate Night with Kelly Clarkson.”
In a clip circulating online, the Grammy winner can be seen handing off her microphone to the officiant who married the couple.
“Brian, do you take Marcello to be your lawful wedded husband forever til death do you part?” he asks as Clarkson stands to the side dressed in a black ensemble and high ponytail.
“I do,” Artzt, who appears casually dressed in a gray T-shirt, responds without hesitation.
The officiant then asks, “Marcello, do you take Brian to be your lawful wedded husband til death do you part for the rest of your life?,” prompting Cialini, who was also wearing a casual tee, to respond, “Yes, I do.”
The officiant concludes, saying, “By the power of the Kelly Clarkson show in Las Vegas, New Year’s 2024, I pronounce you both husband and husband.”
The audience, including Clarkson, then erupted in cheers and celebratory clapping for the couple.
Artzt and Cialini have a history of sharing special milestones with the “Moment Like This” singer, 41.
The assistant principal and his beau, who have said they met because of their mutual love of Clarkson, got engaged at one of her concerts in 2019.
“Thank you for making our engagement a night we will never forget,” Artzt captioned a clip of the proposal on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I planned months to try and make this happen and by pure love and the energy in the arena I was able to propose to @MarcelloCialini with you there. Officiate our wedding @kelly_clarkson @KellyClarksonTV”
He then shared on June 28, 2023, that he and Cialini got to talk to Clarkson at a Barnes and Noble meet-and-greet, and asked her if she would “partake” in their marriage.
“@kellyclarkson Please be by our side as we get married… Chemistry Residency 8/4 & 8/5 ❤️,” Artzt added at the time.
Now that their wish has finally come true, the New York-based principal gushed on social media over the non-traditional ceremony.
“We’ve been together for a while and knew if we could get engaged with @kellyclarkson by our side, we wouldn’t give up on our ultimate wedding with Kelly by our side. @MarcelloCialini,” Artzt wrote on X Tuesday.
The newlyweds received many uplifting messages online, including one from the school district where the principal works.
The NYC Public Schools X account released a statement Tuesday that said, “Congrats to Bronx Health Sciences High School ( @bronx_health )’s very own Assistant Principal Artzt on tying the knot—with an assist from @kellyclarkson —over winter break!”
Despite Clarkson’s marriage officially coming to an end nearly two years ago, she has still been dealing with outstanding financial matters surrounding Blackstock, 47, as recently as last November.
The music exec, who previously worked as her manager, was ordered that month to turn over $2.6 million that he had overcharged her.
The exes, who tied the knot in 2013, share two kids: River Rose, 9, and Remington “Remy” Alexander, 7.
