Andy Cohen turned to Mark Consuelos for some parenting advice.
While filling in for Kelly Ripa on “Live with Kelly and Mark” Thursday, the Bravo bigwig asked the “Riverdale” star about bathing with his children.
“Were you ever naked in front of Lola?” Cohen wondered of Consuelos’ now-22-year-old daughter.
“I have a daughter. What is the protocol there?” the “Watch What Happens Live” host continued, referencing 1-year-old Lucy. “Because I’m a little bit of a nudie, and I feel like I need to start locking it up.”
Consuelos replied that he “was never naked on purpose” in Lola’s presence.
“I think the rule of thumb was [to stop] when they start speaking, when they start saying words,” the “All My Children” alum, 52, noted.
“So there will be no bath time for me and my daughter,” Cohen, 55, /confirm/ied. “That’s weird, right?”
When Consuelos played coy and said he could not decide “what’s weird and what’s not weird,” the “Radio Andy” host joked, “OK, your eyes are telling me that’s weird. That’s all I need to know.”
Cohen subsequently asked when he should stop bathing with his 4-year-old son, Benjamin.
“Like, two years ago,” Consuelos replied before asking whether the toddler enjoys the baths.
“That’s not the question,” the “Daddy Diaries” author said. “He enjoys a lot of things that will be taken away from him.”
Cohen became a dad in 2019 when Benjamin was born via surrogate, followed by Lucy three years later.
Last month, he revealed on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast that “Lucy was one of the first surrogate babies born” in New York after gestational surrogacy was legalized in the state.
In the weeks before Ben’s arrival, however, the Emmy winner had to relocate to Los Angeles to legally welcome the little one.
On Thursday’s episode of “Live,” Cohen also spoke to Consuelos about the actor’s own kids.
In addition to Lola, Consuelos and Ripa, 52, are the parents of sons Michael, 26, and Joaquin, 20 — and the couple’s eldest child has recently been working for Bravo.
“Michael Consuelos … worked on ‘Jersey Housewives,’ he worked on this new season of [‘Real Housewives of] New York,'” Cohen revealed, adding that the New York University grad also “loves” the work he does on “Summer House.”
