Jonah Hills’ ex-girlfriend — who accused him of emotional abuse — is commending actress Alexa Nikolas for speaking up about her own alleged negative experience with the “Superbad” star.
Sarah Brady shared on her Instagram Story Wednesday a screenshot of DMs between the two women, in which the Nickelodeon alum told her, “I shared my personal Jonah story from when I was only 16 and he assaulted me.”
The surfer responded to Nikolas, “Thank you for being brave and sharing. I’m so sorry he did that to you.”
The “Zoey 101” alum wrote back that she was “afraid” to share her story at first, but was emboldened to do so because of Brady’s own “admirable bravery.”
Hill’s ex then asked, “He’s a little scary, huh?,” referencing the “21 Jump Street” star.
Nikolas replied, “Sending so much love and healing. You are a bad ass.”
Brady wrote over the screenshot, “Survivors unite” with a fist up emoji.
Hill, 39, has not publicly addressed his ex’s allegations. The actor told Pvnew via his attorneys Tuesday, however, that Nikolas’ claims were a “complete fabrication.”
Nikolas — who claimed the “You People” actor once “slammed [her] to the door and shoved his tongue down [her] throat” without consent — is not backing down.
The former child star, 31, exclusively tells Pvnew Wednesday, “For longer than we would like to admit abusers have been standing up for one another, covering up for one another, enabling one another.
“Even going as far as paying professionals to silence their victims. Great efforts to silence the survivors trauma and the survivors voice out of existence.”
She adds, “Now we are beginning to see what it looks like when survivors stand up alongside one another and securely validate one another’s experience.”
In response to Brady’s encouragement, Nikolas notes, “It’s powerful and it’s revolutionary. I am beyond grateful and what an honor to stand up alongside survivors like Sarah herself.
“She did something unforgettable and admirable. Last night helped me heal even more.”
The actress first opened up about Hill’s alleged assault on Twitter last Saturday, a day after Brady released a series of text messages her ex allegedly sent her.
The surfer claimed Hill would allegedly “gaslight” and “manipulate” her via the texts into removing photos of herself surfing in a swimsuit throughout their relationship.
She also claimed the “The Wolf of Wall Street” actor disapproved of her “inappropriate friendships with men” as well as “friendships with women who are in unstable places,” which he allegedly labeled as just having “boundaries.”
Brady — who dated the movie star from August 2021 to early 2022 — has been met with much support, but also some criticism.
Some critics have praised Hill for setting standards in his relationship, including Megan McCain, who wrote in her Daily Mail column, “Is it really so wrong for a man to ask his girlfriend to respect his ‘boundaries’? We women do the same all the time! … Good for him.”
“I don’t condemn men for telling their partners what they want,” the former “The View” co-host, 38, added. “Women generally encourage the men in their lives to communicate and avoid harboring bitter feelings.”
Meanwhile, “The Real Housewives of New York” alum Bethenny Frankel seemingly sided with Brady, sharing that Hill was allegedly once a “d–k” to her.
“I did ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ and Jonah Hill was the first guest,” she said in a TikTok video posted Monday. “And he was a low-grade d—k.”
The Skinnygirl founder, 52, then alleged, “He was put upon and kind of treated me like he was … better than [me]. I felt like a loser and the nobody that I was.”
Frankel posed the question, though, “Where the line is in what texts and phone calls should be shared?” before admitting that she doesn’t “know the whole story.”
Brady shared via her Instagram Stories Wednesday that she decided to speak up now because Hill has “branded himself as the mental health guy” with films like “Stutz.”
She concluded, “[In my opinion], he hasn’t changed much. He’s just found new tactics to manipulate with, whether that manipulation is conscious or not.”
