Ken Jeong is convinced his pal Constance Wu is competing as the Gazelle on “The Masked Singer” Season 10 — and here’s why.
“You know, the best clue on this show is the voice and I’ve been saying this all season: I know this voice,” the celebrity panelist says in Pvnew’s exclusive preview of Wednesday night’s finale.
“I really believe Gazelle is Constance Wu.”
Jeong, 54, and Wu, 41, have known each other for years and have even worked together on multiple Hollywood projects — including the ABC sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat,” which aired from 2015 to 2020, and 2018’s blockbuster film “Crazy Rich Asians.”
The physician-turned-comedian goes on to say that Wu has previously expressed interest in singing opportunities, also leading him to believe that she is hiding underneath the elaborate Gazelle costume.
“She’s a dear friend and Constance has told me, in the past, that she wants to do musicals,” he says in our sneak peek.
The actress is currently living out that dream, performing in the off-Broadway production of “Little Shop of Horrors” — starring opposite Corbin Bleu — in New York City.
Jeong, who has remained firm in his Wu guess all season, admits that he often gets it wrong on the Fox reality series.
“I know this is a show based on clues and there’s some things I can’t match and I’ll be the first to admit that,” he tells host Nick Cannon and fellow panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger.
“Sometimes on the show, guys, I don’t know if you know that sometimes I may not get things right,” he jokingly adds, turning to the audience. “Will I change my mind? Maybe, maybe not. You’re just gonna have to find [out] in the end of ’Season Ken.’”
“TMS” Season 10 has unveiled an eclectic group of famous contestants so far, from “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Luann de Lesseps and R&B diva Keyshia Cole to former O-Town singer Ashley Parker Angel and “Teen Wolf” hunk Tyler Posey.
The “Masked Singer” Season 10 finale airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
