Constance Wu has welcomed baby No. 2!
The actress announced on Thursday that she secretly gave birth to her and Ryan Kattner’s second child, a son — but did not reveal the little one’s name.
“Breaking news,” Wu said in a teaser for Danielle Robay’s “PRETTYSMART” podcast after saying she dedicated her book to her daughter before welcoming a baby boy. “Nobody knew I had a son.”
Pvnew revealed in February that the “Fresh Off the Boat” alum, 41, was pregnant.
While Wu did not comment on her expanding family at the time, she showed her budding belly in a striped top out and about in Los Angeles.
The “Crazy Rich Asians” star maintained similar privacy while pregnant with her daughter, now 2, in August 2020.
The new mom and Kattner kept their baby girl a secret after her August 2020 arrival, with multiple outlets confirming her arrival four months later.
Wu spoke about motherhood for the first time in May of the following year, telling Jimmy Fallon about her infant’s “special” blue birthmark, also known as congenital melanocytosis.
“I had never heard of it before, but it’s called a Mongolian spot,” the Golden Globe nominee explained in the 2021 interview. “Apparently, it happens in a lot of Asian babies, and my boyfriend and I are both Asian.”
Wu was on a social media hiatus at the time. She’d been off of all platforms — and refraining from working — due to a 2019 Twitter controversy.
The “Hustlers” star made headlines at the time for expressing anger over the renewal of “Fresh Off the Boat,” and rampant online backlash led Wu to attempt suicide.
After “a long time … under therapy and observation,” Wu reevaluated “what matters” in her life.
She told “Good Morning America” co-hosts in October 2022 that she now wants to “reach” people similarly “in despair” and encourage them to seek help.
Wu has been back on Instagram and Twitter since July 2022, also taking on acting roles and writing a memoir.
The “Making a Scene” author’s first day as a working mom was the “hardest” she’s experienced.
“I missed my baby,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in July 2022. “It was so emotional.”
