Fireworks weren’t the only things shining brightly at Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July white party on Monday.
Kim Kardashian arrived at the star-studded shindig wearing a diamond necklace from Messika set with a jaw-dropping 17-carat pear-shaped stone, which she inventively styled as a belly chain.
The Skims founder — who accidentally wound up twinning with fellow Kanye West ex Chaney Jones at the party — previously wore the same piece to the Time 100 Gala in April, though she wore it around her neck the first time around.
According to the jeweler, the piece was originally intended to be worn in multiple ways, and Kardashian took advantage of its versatility to accent her tiny waist at the Hamptons bash.
The Diamond Pro CEO Mike Fried tells Pvnew Style the multipurpose piece is likely worth around $1.3 million.
“Any diamond over 15 carats, especially a pear-shaped one like Kim’s, is extremely rare,” he says.
Olivia Landau, GIA-certified gemologist and founder of The Clear Cut, offered an even larger estimate on the “epic” bauble, telling us it “could range from $2 to $3 million, depending on quality.”
Kardashian paired the chain with a sheer white Alaïa crop top ($1,860) and matching skirt with ribbed detail, wearing the necklace above the low-slung bottom.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband’s former flame, 24, attended Rubin’s party in the dress version ($4,320) of the same look — although word is still out on whether the two ran into each other.
The Skkn by Kim founder — who claimed on Twitter that she took nearly a dozen shots at the boozy bash — revealed her Alaïa outfit in a pre-party TikTok on Lori Harvey’s account, dancing, strutting and drinking with sister Kendall Jenner and pals Harvey, Hailey Bieber, Lala Anthony and Justine Skye.
One user on the KUWTK Snark Reddit forum questioned Kardashian’s Y2K accessory, writing, “Kim is really trying hard to make the year 2000 belly chain a ‘thing’ again.”
“Belly chains definitely are a thing again, imo they’re cute when they’re styled right. So not like this,” another quipped.
“Belly chains ARE a thing again,” one fan wrote in defense of Kardashian. “Very Y2K lol.”
Clearly Kim loves the two-for-one sparkler.
