Florence Pugh celebrated the first anniversary of her viral nipple-baring moment by wearing yet another sheer gown.
One year after causing a stir with a totally see-through pink dress at the 2022 Valentino Haute Couture fashion show, Pugh wore a similar purple gown — this time baring her chest and showing off her panties — during Paris Fashion Week.
The 27-year-old “Don’t Worry Darling” star posed as the transparent lavender garb blew in the wind outside of this year’s Valentino Haute Couture show in Paris on Wednesday.
Pugh juxtaposed the gauzy gown with sky-high black wedges and a studded black purse.
She also showed off her new hairstyle, a buzzcut that she debuted at the 2023 Met Gala in May, that was freshly dyed pink in perhaps a nod to last year’s scandalous look.
Pugh’s original “free the nipple” moment sparked tons of controversy, causing the “Little Women” actress to defend herself again “vulgar” men.
“It isn’t the first time and certainly won’t be the last time a woman will hear what’s wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what’s worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be,” she wrote at the time.
“Thankfully, I’ve come to terms with the intricacies of my body that make me, me. I’m happy with all of the ‘flaws’ that I couldn’t bear to look at when I was 14.”
Pugh concluded with a scathing message: “Grow up. Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect humans.”
A few months later, the “Midsommar” star told Vogue that she never expected to cause an uproar with the outfit.
“If I’m happy in it, then I’m gonna wear it,” she explained. “Of course, I don’t want to offend people, but I think my point is: How can my nipples offend you that much?”
The criticism didn’t stop Pugh from wearing a bevy of see-through (often Valentino) outfits on her “Don’t Worry Darling” press tour.
Earlier this year, she also flashed her thong under a sheer skirt at the Italian fashion brand’s runway show.
