Florence Pugh is one daring dresser.
The “Oppenheimer” actress, 27, hit the red carpet at the Elle Style Awards 2023 in London Tuesday wearing an eye-catching gown that showed off her assets.
Pugh posed for photographers in a see-through white lace look by Harris Reed, adding a pop of color with blue nail polish and a bit of punk with her spiked-up platinum pixie and septum piercing.
Other guests at the event included Gemma Ward, “Sex Education” star Ncuti Gatwa, Letitia Wright and Suki Waterhouse — the latter of whom similarly dared to bare in a sheer, sparkling Fendi Couture gown.
Miss Flo’s no stranger to freeing the nipple, having caused quite the social media stir in 2022 with a certain sheer pink Valentino dress.
While the peekaboo design proved polarizing, Pugh’s defended it ever since — most recently in the October issue of Elle UK.
“I speak the way I do about my body because I’m not trying to hide the cellulite on my thigh or the squidge in between my arm and my boob: I would much rather lay it all out,” Pugh told fellow actress Jodie Turner-Smith in her interview.
“I think the scariest thing for me are the instances where people have been upset that I’ve shown ‘too much’ of myself … When everything went down with the Valentino pink dress a year ago, my nipples were on display through a piece of fabric, and it really wound people up.”
Quipped Pugh, “Unfortunately, we’ve become so terrified of the human body that we can’t even look at my two little cute nipples behind fabric in a way that isn’t sexual.”
Despite the backlash she received over the divisive dress — which the star has called “alarming” — Pugh recalled, “Every woman I walked past would say, ‘You look like you’re having so much fun.’ And I was!”
Let the good times roll.
