Amid husband Offset’s accusations of infidelity, Cardi B is bringing a different kind of drama to Paris Fashion Week.
The “WAP” rapper looked unbothered as she attended the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show Monday in a larger-than-life look.
Cardi struck poses outside of the Petit Palais in a velvet bustier column gown topped with gold measuring tape-inspired embroidery and a voluminous embroidered wool coat comprised of hundreds of wooly tufts.
A set of the fashion house’s surrealist ear-shaped statement earrings, armfuls of gold bangles and towering peep-toe platforms finished off her look.
Schiaparelli shared a glamorous Instagram Reel of the superstar’s arrival, along with the caption, “CARDI COUTURE.”
“Cardi always delivers!!!!!!!” one fan exclaimed in the comments, while another wrote, “One thing Cardi will ALWAYS do immaculately, is COUTURE!”
But not everyone loved the over-the-top look.
“she makes everything look cheap,” one person complained.
“to me her music/persona is kind of incongruent with high fashion … doesnt mean she doesnt look good, i just find the pairing weird,” another opined.
Several jumped to Cardi’s defense, with someone warning, “Be careful there darlings, your classism, sexism and/or racism are showing a little every time you say she lacks class and elegance and shouldn’t be clad in such garments.”
The compliments continued over on Cardi’s own Instagram, where she showed off her couture creation from every angle and thanked Schiaparelli for the “beautiful show.”
“Even if you don’t like her you can never deny she always looks tf good! Living fashion icon,” one fan quipped.
Other stars in attendance at Schiaparelli’s show included Tracee Ellis Ross, Nicky Hilton and Gwendoline Christie.
Offset, however, was nowhere to be found.
