“Bling Empire” alum Jessey Lee’s ex-wife, Crystal Hoang Lee, has accused him of physical and mental abuse against her and their children.
In her request for a temporary restraining order, which was obtained Tuesday by Pvnew but first seen by TMZ, Crystal, 40, claimed Jessey, 47, hit their daughters, aged 11 and 7, as recently as Nov. 25.
She claimed in the court filing that the alleged abuse occurred from 2015 to 2018 and from 2022 on.
The pair married in June 2011, with Jessey filing for divorce in the spring of 2015. Their split was finalized in July 2019.
According to the TRO, Crystal claimed Jessey allegedly “slaps” their daughters, “pulls [their] hair,” “physically hits [them] to go to sleep” or because at least one of them “can’t spell” and “chokes” them.
She further claimed in the legal documents that the girls are “physically punished constantly” and that they sometimes end up with “bloody noses.”
Crystal went on to include photos of her ex-husband holding one of their daughters while she was crying.
In another picture, one of the girls was seen with an apparent bruise on her leg. A different image showed one of the girls with apparent cuts around her face.
In the TRO request, Crystal went on to allege that their daughters are “suffering” from “abuse, neglect [and] abandonment,” claiming Jessey “leaves [the] children] to gamble” and go to “strip clubs” until “4 a.m.”
She further claimed he “uproots [the] children, places them in unknown schools [and] doesn’t pick them up.”
According to Crystal’s allegations in the court filing, Jessey prevents at least one of the girls from doing her schoolwork and “intentionally tries to sabotage her life.”
Crystal also described Jessey’s alleged abuse against her as “physical, emotional [and] financial,” claiming that she suffered a miscarriage in September.
She further alleged in the legal docs that Jessey is “a part of the cartel” and is involved with “drugs, strippers, brothels” and even “put a hit out on” her.
Crystal also alleged that the girls are being abused at Jessey’s parents’ house, as she referred to the grandparents as “elder” and “impatient.”
She claimed in the court filing that at least one of the daughters throws “temper-tantrums when she has to be with the grandparents [for] so long” and claimed the girls are “happy with mom” while they are “angry with dad and grandparents.”
According to the TRO request, Crystal also asked that Jessey stay away from a dog and a horse, and she claimed he owns six guns.
She wants sole legal and physical custody but is OK with Jessey having supervised visitation.
Jessey’s rep denied the allegations, telling TMZ in a statement, “Mr. Lee has no knowledge of this restraining order. He actually was granted a restraining order against Ms. Hoang on Nov. 21. He has been awarded full exclusive custody of the children, and they currently live with him. Ms. Hoang has no access or parental rights. There is absolutely no truth to any of these allegations.”
Crystal — who lives in Malibu, Calif. — confirmed on Instagram that she had “lost parental rights” but did not say why, as she insists to Pvnew that she is “a dedicated and highly involved parent” who “goes over and beyond to compensate for [Jessey’s] absence.”
She tells us that Jessey — whom she describes as a “monstrous individual” — has misrepresented his place of residence to the court, allegedly claiming that he lives in Texas with his parents and not in California with his wife, Chérie Chan, and their two kids.
“It is my sincere desire for my daughters to be geographically closer to their father, with just a short, 30-minute distance separating them, as opposed to relying on air travel,” Crystal says.
She goes on to allege, “During the previous Christmas season, he was in Hawaii with Chérie and their two children, while my children were left to spend the holiday at a casino in Oklahoma with a third party. It is disheartening to witness my children being deprived of the necessary opportunities for their development, as he actively impedes their access to such resources.”
According to TMZ, a judge denied Crystal’s request for the TRO and scheduled a hearing for later this month.
Jessey did not immediately respond to our requests for comment.
He married Chan in September 2021; however, they began dating in June 2015 — when he was still legally married to Crystal.
The couple abruptly left “Bling Empire” during Season 2, seemingly due to drama surrounding questions about his love life.
