He’s still got the “moves like Jagger.”
Mick Jagger, 79, showed no signs of aging as he shimmied on the dance floor during the American Ballet Theatre’s June Gala afterparty.
The Rolling Stones frontman and his 36-year-old girlfriend Melanie Hamrick were seen dancing up a storm to “Pepas” by Farruko and “Give Me Everything” by Pitbull.
Jagger was surrounded by partygoers trying to dance with him as he put his hands up in the air and moved his hips to the music.
The singer even took a group selfie with “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey.
The event celebrated the opening of ABT’s summer season, which premiered with a performance of “Like Water for Chocolate,” choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon.
The “Satisfaction” singer was at the swanky gala because his longtime girlfriend is a former ballerina with the ABT. She retired in 2019 after 15 years.
Hamrick and Jagger began dating in 2014 after meeting at a concert in Tokyo. They welcomed a son named Deveraux ‘Devi’ Octavian Basil Jagger in 2016.
Jagger has 7 other children from previous relationships.
He welcomed his eldest child, 52-year-old Karis, in 1970 with actress Marsha Hunt. The following year he married, Bianca Jagger and had a daughter, Jade, 51.
He shares four children with ex Jerry Hall: daughters Elizabeth, 39, and Georgia May, 31, and sons James, 37, and Gabriel, 25. He also has a son, Lucas, 24, with Brazilian model, Luciana Morad Gimenez.
The legendary performer is also a great-grandfather through Jade’s daughter, Assisi, who has two girls with chef Alex Key.
Jagger and Hamrick sparked engagement rumors when Hamrick was spotted wearing a diamond ring, although the former dancer clarified that she likes to call it a “promise ring.”
“I have to giggle because did Mick give me the ring? Yes,” she told The Mirror. “Is it for that finger? Yes. But are we like, horny teenagers where we’re giving each other… In my mind, it’s a promise ring. We’ll be immature and call it a promise ring.”
Since hanging up her ballet slippers, Hamrick has segued into the literary world.
Her debut “erotic” novel, “First Position” was released this month and tells the story of a young ballerina who is “magnetically drawn” to a renowned dancer who joins the company.
Other celebs at the gala included Katie Holmes, Julianne Hough, Misty Copeland, Cynthia Rowley, Jean Shafiroff, and Candace Bushnell.
