Why so serious?
Colin Jost seemed lost in thought while posing on the red carpet Thursday night at the 2023 American Museum of Natural History Gala in New York City with his wife, Scarlett Johansson.
In fact, the “Saturday Night Live” star appeared so stone-faced that the Oscar nominee had to turn to him and ask whether he was OK, to which he nodded his head “yes” in a video taken by Pvnew.
Whatever had Jost preoccupied — wondering whether he’d get a parking ticket or if he put the recyclables out or emptied the dishwasher before they left — vanished immediately as the couple were both snapped smiling.
Reps did not respond to Pvnew’s requests for comment.
Johansson, 39, and Jost, 41, were first linked in May 2017 after they were spotted kissing following her appearance on “SNL.”
That December, they made their relationship public while attending the Museum of Natural History Gala together.
They announced their marriage in October 2020 with help from the charity Meals on Wheels.
“Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica,” the statement read. “Please consider donating to celebrate the happy couple by clicking the link in our bio.”
Then, in August 2021, the pair welcomed a son, Cosmo.
Jost admitted that his mom wasn’t too keen on her grandson’s name at first, while Johansson shared that they “threw a bunch of letters together” and thought the result was “charming.”
The “Black Widow” star also shares a 9-year-old daughter, Rose, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
Other celebs at Thursday’s starry event included Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin, Seth Meyers, Busy Philipps, Kenan Thompson and Bowen Yang.
The evening raised over $2.5 million, with the proceeds going to support the museum’s educational and scientific programs.
