CANNES — Rihanna is a wife?!
Rihanna made a surprise appearance at A$AP Rocky’s Spotify concert during the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival on Wednesday night, where he proceeded to call her his “wife.”
The superstar — who showed off her baby bump in a sheer vintage Jean Paul Gaultier dress layered atop a sequined Oséree bikini — arrived at the venue at around 12:45 a.m. just as her beau’s show began.
Rihanna, 35, looked totally at ease as a pal caressed her belly before immediately grooving to A$AP’s discography.
She appeared particularly thrilled when her man performed “Sundress,” busting out a series of adorable dance moves and flashing a wide smile throughout.
However, what really made her smile was when the Harlem rapper gave her a sweet shout-out during his second set, saying, “I’d like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the motherf–king building!”
once his show had wrapped, the couple then hung out with friends in the VIP area.
Although marketing execs, press and celebrities were thrilled to see A$AP, Rihanna commanded plenty of attention as many snapped pics and video clips on their phones.
VIP attendees included comedian Tiffany Haddish, “Bachelorette” alum Dale Moss, influencers Jake Shane, Tinx, David Dobrik and Cameron Dallas, as well as “Saturday Night Live” actors Chloe Fineman, Bowen Yang, Ego Nwodim and Mikey Day.
Pvnew has reached out to Rihanna and A$AP’s reps for comment after he dubbed her his wife.
A$AP’s performance comes after the pair made an appearance at Pharrell Williams’ debut runway show as Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director on Tuesday in Paris.
The Fenty mogul put her baby bump on display as she and the rapper stepped out in matching denim outfits for Williams’ big Fashion Week affair.
Rihanna and A$AP, 34, are parents to 1-year-old son Rza, whom they welcomed in May 2022. The makeup mogul then announced she is pregnant with their second child during her Super Bowl halftime performance in February.
The Spotify event, which is one of the most exclusive happenings on the beach, also featured performances by the Foo Fighters and Disclosure.
It was such an in-demand fete that people went to any and all lengths to get in, even though it was at capacity.
People started lining up at 8 p.m., almost three hours before the concert was set to begin.
The queue stretched down the block and contained people who had the coveted QR codes which provided entry — and those who were hoping for a miracle.
Fans who didn’t possess tickets looked down from the Croisette in hopes of catching a glimpse of their favorite celebrities at the star-studded event.
