He’s a “Fashion Killa.”
Rihanna opened up about parenting, personal style and her high-profile relationship with A$AP Rocky in Interview magazine’s spring 2024 issue — and revealed who the real fashionista of the household is.
Though the “Diamonds” singer, 36, is known for pushing fashion boundaries, especially when it comes to her maternity style, the star shared that her boyfriend’s high-fashion ‘fits can make her feel “bummy as s—t” in comparison.
Rihanna was interviewed by her former stylist and Interview’s editor in chief, Mel Ottenberg, for the cover story, and when he commented on the rapper’s “good taste,” the “Umbrella” singer admitted that A$AP loves to dress to impress.

“Isn’t he the best? I be feeling bummy as s—t next to this man. I feel like, goddamn, I look like his assistant,” she told Ottenberg.
Rihanna continued that A$AP Rocky even puts on a designer look to travel, sharing, “I’m getting on a plane. We should be in sweats. He wants to be in a full Bottega suit. I’m like, ‘Why you got to do that to me?'”
When asked if there was “a little competition for the looks,” the Fenty Beauty founder — who shares sons RZA, 1, and Riot, 8, with A$AP Rocky — said she prefers to dress her kids versus herself, telling her former stylist, “Moms are lazy dressers in real life.”
“It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?'” she said.
When it comes to clothes for her two kids under two, Rihanna said she has no shortage of looks.
“I have racks, I have bags. They’re all sized and organized, and then whatever gets too small for RZA, I put into bins so that Riot can have them next,” she told the mag, adding, “Everybody thinks Rocky dresses them because I dress them in Rocky outfits.”
She also revealed that baby Riot — who made a splash at the 2023 Super Bowl when Rihanna revealed she was pregnant with baby number two — is already wearing his big brother’s 1-year-old clothing.
As for her own style, Rihanna told Ottenberg that her “new favorite designer” was Jawara Alleyne, adding she was “struggling with tops.”
The Grammy winner also chatted about her beloved “Real Housewives” franchise, sharing her thoughts on whether Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade are dating (“I mean, duh”) and if she thinks controversial “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Monica Garcia could return (“if Tom Sandoval can come back, Monica should definitely be able to come back,” she declared).
Although she admitted she didn’t have time to watch much TV other than “Housewives,” the “Love on the Brain” singer did share her secrets to staying up all night — even if “the devil doesn’t want” her awake.
“Espresso martinis, 5-Hour Energys. Those are really good for long nights, big shoots,” Rihanna shared.
And when asked what her “fantasy surgery” would be, Rihanna said that while she’s “scared of the knife” she’d go for a breast lift.
“I want my titties pinned back to my shoulders, right where they used to be,” she said. “I don’t want implants. I just want a lift.”
