Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers settle divorce nearly 3 years after filing

Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers have settled their divorce three years after separating, Pvnew can exclusively reveal.

The “Call Me by Your Name” star submitted his final declaration of disclosure on June 14, which means the two were preparing to settle, but sources tell us that Hammer and the Bird Bakery founder actually already closed the door on their marriage.

Attorneys and reps for the new divorcés didn’t immediately return Pvnew’s requests for comment.

Chambers filed for dissolution on July 10, 2020, after a decade of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the split.

However, the “differences” would soon be revealed to be the sexual abuse — and cannibalism — allegations that were ultimately leveled against Hammer.

A woman named Effie came forward and claimed the “Rebecca” actor, 36, had violently raped her during their affair, which prompted a Los Angeles Police Department investigation.

Ultimately, the District Attorney declined to prosecute Hammer after finding “insufficient evidence” to charge him with a crime.

Hammer vehemently denied all allegations against him, first with statements from his attorney and then in a tell-all interview with Air Mail earlier this year.

“This alleged rape was a scene that was her idea,” he claimed, further alleging that their relationship began after Effie sent him a message via Facebook in October 2016.

“She planned all of the details out, all the way down to what Starbucks I would see her at, how I would follow her home, how her front door would be open and unlocked, and I would come in, and we would engage in what is called a ‘consensual non-consent scene,’ CNC.”

Hammer’s attorney also previously told Pvnew that his client “maintained that all of his interactions with [Effie] — and every other sexual partner of his for that matter — have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.”

Prior to filing for divorce, Chambers, 40, took her and Hammer’s two children, Harper, 8, and Ford, 6, to the Cayman Islands when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and she has lived there ever since.

The Golden Globe nominee eventually made his way back to his home island, where he was seen selling timeshares, though it appears he has moved back to Los Angeles after going through a long-term treatment program.

Hammer told Air Mail that he was spending his time working as a sober companion to help others struggling with addiction issues.

“I’m going to move in with him and live with him, get him on a healthy routine, get him into a good schedule of [recovery] meetings, take him to the gym, cook healthy food for him,” he told the publication.

“It feels like my recovery has taken a turn from me being the one who needs help staying sober to me being able to help others. Twelve steps in action.”
