Kim Zolciak has been given “no choice but to speak up” and defend her parenting.
After Kroy Biermann alleged in court docs that their four kids need protection from Zolciak, the reality star clapped back at his “harmful … lies” in a statement to People.
“It’s really sad the way Kroy is causing our divorce to play out in the media like this because it could have a profound effect on our children in the long run,” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum’s lawyer told the outlet Tuesday.
The statement went on to accuse Biermann, 37, of attempting “to paint Kim as an unfit mother” to Kroy, 11, Kash, 10, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9, “for his own gain.”
Zolciak’s attorney also alleged that the 45-year-old’s estranged husband has subjected her to years of “emotional and mental abuse,” which have “taken a toll” on the entire family.
“Kim has always been an extremely devoted mother to her children,” the statement concluded. “They are her entire world, and she is always there to love and support them every step of the way.”
Biermann’s lawyer has yet to respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
Earlier that same day, Pvnew reported that Biermann had requested in new court documents that his kids be provided with a legal guardian.
The retired professional football player claimed that Zolciak has been “abusive” toward him with “little concern if the children are present,” also expressing concern over her upcoming “RHOA” cameo affecting their “mental health and wellbeing.”

Additionally, Biermann requested that two people from a local mediation group “immediately” look into his ex’s alleged gambling and reckless driving.
The former athlete and Zolciak, who is also the mother of Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, have been married since November 2011. The duo filed for divorce last month.
Although the exes are still living together in their Georgia mansion, the breakup has taken a nasty turn, from social media snubs to requests for drug tests.
The ongoing legal battle has not been an “easy” one for Zolciak, her former co-star Shereé Whitfield recently told Pvnew’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast listeners.
“She’s dealing with a lot,” the Bravolebrity said. “She has a lot of kids and is just really trying to be strong for [them].”
