Welcome back to New York.
Taylor Swift made the rounds at some of her favorite hotspots in the Big Apple in September 2023 during a break from her blockbuster Eras Tour.
In between heating up her romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the “Cruel Summer” singer was spotted hitting a myriad of Manhattan’s trendiest joints.
Whether she was enjoying a girls’ night out with Sophie Turner and Blake Lively or a private gathering with family, here are Swift’s favorite NYC restaurants.
Via Carota
One of Swift’s favorite eateries is Via Carota in the West Village.
The trattoria —which is one of the toughest tables to snag in Manhattan and always has a line of hopeful patrons around the block — is the brainchild of Jody Williams and Rita Sodi and features Tuscan dishes like wild boar ragu, cacio e pepe and insalata verde.
Stars like Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Lawrence and Andy Cohen are regulars at the buzzy haunt, and Swift is no exception.
The Grammy winner has dined at Via Carota on countless occasions, including right after her breakup from Joe Alwyn in March 2023. She linked up with her frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff and his now-wife, Margaret Qualley, at the time.
Swift made quite the splash again when she stepped out for dinner at the same restaurant with Turner that September after news broke that the “Game of Thrones” star and Joe Jonas were getting a divorce.
It seems Via Carota’s homemade spaghetti can help heal a broken heart.
Emilio’s Ballato
“Taylor’s Version” of a good night out is grabbing her girls and going for some delicious Italian at Emilio’s Ballato.
The storied walk-ins-only Soho establishment — owned by Emilio Vitolo Sr. and run by his son Emilio Vitolo Jr. (aka Katie Holmes’ ex-boyfriend) — has a reputation for hosting VIPs in an exclusive backroom on a regular basis.
The restaurant has a no-frills, old-school feel, and its meatballs and red sauce dishes are a big part of the draw. Fan favorites include the spaghetti al pomodoro, linguine with clams and homemade tagliatelle with beef, pork and veal ragu.
Swift and Turner joined forces with Lively and Brittany Mahomes for a girls’ night out at the beloved eatery in September 2023. The move may have been strategic for Turner amid her custody battle with Jonas considering the Italian joint is the “Sucker” singer’s favorite restaurant in NYC.
Zero Bond
The ultra-private pop star loves to party at the members-only club Zero Bond.
Located, quite cleverly, at 0 Bond St. in NoHo, the stunningly designed social club was opened by 1Oak co-founder Scott Sartiano and has attracted A-listers like Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Kim Kardashian and Ed Sheeran.
Unsurprisingly, T-Swift has turned to the private spot to party in peace. Just as rumors swirled that Swift was dating Kelce, she and Lively hit up Zero Bond for a Saturday night dinner out in September 2023.
Swift also celebrated Kelce leading the Chiefs in their win against the New York Jets by afterpartying with her brother, Austin, at the exclusive venue that October.
Hotel Barriére Fouquet’s
Swift kept things swanky when she and Turner popped by Hotel Barriére Fouquet’s for a low-key dinner in September 2023.
The luxury Champs-Elysées Paris hotel arrived in Tribeca in December 2022 and has hosted many celebrities including Emily Ratajkowski, Chris Rock, Huma Abedin, Chelsea Clinton, Karol G and Elsa Hosk.
The art deco guest rooms and suites, known for their charming Toile de Jouy wallpaper and marble bathrooms, cost a pretty penny: They range in price from $1,500 to $5,950 per night depending on the layout of the space.
The upscale Parisian hotel boasts an elegant rooftop, a French bistro restaurant (known for its stellar French onion soup), a cozy café, an intimate lobby bar, a private movie theater and a tranquil spa.
Casino
A Pvnew spy spotted the “Mastermind” songstress dining with pal Zoë Kravitz at Casino, an NYC hotspot, in September 2023.
The Lower East Side eatery, which opened on Swift’s birthday in 2022, “draws its inspiration from the fresh, coastal cuisine of the French and Italian Riviera,” according to the restaurant’s Resy page.
Patrons of the retro-inspired jaunt — which features bright red floors, marble columns and crisp white tablecloths — can dine on crispy baby artichokes, steelhead trout, and wood-fired prawns.
A DeuxMoi tipster who saw Swift at the bistro said the musician ordered “several Cosmos,” prompting a social media revival of the classic cocktail.
The Mulberry
The Mulberry in SoHo is another go-to for Swift and Turner when they want to “Shake It Off.”
The dynamic duo partied at the new Soho bar amid the English actress’ custody battle in September 2023.
Complete with its signature Emelie Törling murals, The Mulberry offers cocktails and caviar and hosted a star-studded opening party in February 2023 where attendees included Camila Mendes, Sebastian Stan, Margot Robbie, Taika Waititi, Brad Pitt and DiCaprio.
Regulars at the hip downtown bar, which is nearly impossible to get into without knowing someone, include Jason Mamoa, Christian Siriano, Janet Jackson, Alicia Silverstone and Beck.
Temple Bar
Temple Bar offers a private yet energetic ambiance that has attracted stars like Swift.
As Pvnew exclusively reported, she and Turner turned to the party spot in September 2023 when they popped in for “martinis” and “caviar bumps.”
Cara Delevingne and best friend Sienna Miller famously “made out” at the NoHo watering hole in January 2022, and other stars to party at the venue include Trevor Noah, Julia Fox and Law Roach.
Locanda Verde
Swift owns several homes in Tribeca, so it’s no surprise she likes to support her neighborhood spots.
The songwriter has dined at Italian eatery Locanda Verde on several occasions.
She and Lily Aldridge reportedly hit the Andrew Carmellini-led dining room multiple times together.
The low-lit, cozy restaurant offers a private dining room as well as a wide selection of beloved dishes including Sardinian sheep’s milk ricotta, lamb bolognese rigatoni, steak tartare and dry-aged duck.
Other celebrities spotted at Locanda Verde include Meghan Markle, who notoriously acted like “a princess” while dining there in July 2022, as well as Tribeca royalty Robert De Niro and power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
Il Buco Alimentari
Swift clearly has a “Love Story” with Greek food.
She went to the rustic-chic Mediterranean restaurant Il Buco Alimentari in September 2023.
She was seen at the NoHo spot with Hollywood power players Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz and Greta Gerwig, according to the Cut.
Chef Justin Smillie’s menu features house-cured meats and freshly baked breads and pastries.
The Waverly Inn
The Waverly Inn is another spot Swift has turned to while getting over a breakup.
After her 2016 breakup with Tom Hiddleston, the Grammy winner dined at the West Village hotspot with close confidants Delevingne, Antonoff and Lorde.
She has also been spotted grabbing a casual dinner there with Lena Dunham and Dakota Johnson, according to Vogue.
And in October 2023, an eagle-eyed spy told gossip blog Deux Moi that Swift and Phoebe Bridges gathered at the joint and that “mother had 4 cosmos.”
That same month, Swift returned to The Waverly Inn for a date night with Kelce.
The high-end American eatery, co-owned by former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter, is known for its starry clientele just as much as its chicken pot pie.
Casa Cipriani
Swift enjoyed a fun night with Lively and Ryan Reynolds at the private members-only social club Casa Cipriani while healing from her breakup from Alwyn in April 2023.
A month later, she was spotted kissing and cuddling short-lived flame Matty Healy while dining at the posh lower Manhattan spot.
The ultra-private club famously banned at least three members who were involved in snapping pictures of Swift and Healy during their visit there.
Nonetheless, Swift canceled her membership due to the disregard for her privacy.
Still, the exclusive venue has hosted tons of stars including Clive Davis for his 90th birthday as well as regular DiCaprio.
Do Not Disturb
She’s in her speakeasy era.
Another hot spot Swift turned to while enjoying Autumn in the Big Apple included Do Not Disturb in the West Village.
According to a photo obtained by Deux Moi, Swift was seen sipping on a beverage in a cozy booth in the low-lit haunt.
The speakeasy, located in a basement on West 12th Street, serves up “aphrodisiacs” and craft cocktails for smartly dressed clientele.
Nobu
Swift has dined at various Nobu restaurants around the globe, including both of NYC’s locations.
In June 2023, the “Blank Space” singer was spotted exiting the downtown venue with longtime pal Gigi Hadid. Four months later, she and Kelce decided to go public with their relationship at the uptown iteration on 57th Street.
Nobu was founded by celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, restaurateur Drew Nieporent and investor Meir Teper in the mid-’90s and its first restaurant, which focused on blending traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients, opened in London in 1997.
The business quickly blossomed and expanded to more than 50 restaurants around the world.
Holiday Bar
Swift stopped by West Village restaurant Holiday Bar in October 2023 while celebrating the release of her new album, “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
As Pvnew exclusively reported, she was joined by HAIM band members Alana and Danielle Haim.
They were just “girls being girls,” our spy said.
The chic eatery — a sister restaurant to Grand Tour Hospitality’s American Bar and Saint Theo’s that opened in 2022 — is known for serving up delicious seafood dishes, salads, steaks and strong cocktails.
