Lizzo braved the outdoor stage of the 2023 Governors Ball Friday despite New York City’s “unhealthy” air quality just days earlier.

“In light of all the environmental events and disasters, we need to listen to our First Nations, indigenous people of this country,” the pop star said during her headlining show, per USA Today.

“We need to listen to our water protectors because they’re trying to make sure we have land to live on. Because (we] love clean air.”

Following days of smoke-induced haze across the Big Apple due to Canada’s ongoing wildfires, Lizzo, 35, put on a memorable show at Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The “Good As Hell” singer took the stage wearing a bright pink wig, silver bodysuit and matching skirt.

She performed a plethora of her hits, including “Special,” “about Damn Time” and “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready).”

Concertgoers were concerned that the three-day event would be canceled due to the horrible air quality index (AQI), which jumped to 405 — a degree rated “unhealthy” for everyone — on Wednesday.

The city was blanketed under an eerie orange sky as more than 400 active wildfires spread across Canada.

Residents were urged to stay inside through the weekend, especially the elderly, children, pregnant women and people who have lung or heart ailments.

“These gases can cause heart disease and cognitive issues as they impact your blood’s ability to oxygenate other vital organs,” Dr. Purvi Parikh, an allergist and immunologist with the Allergy & Asthma Network, told The Post Friday. “The smoke inhalation can cause premature or preterm birth in pregnant women as well.”

“It’s best to stay inside in bad days and run a HEPA air purifier if you have them,” she added. “Keep windows closed and wear masks outside — higher-grade medical masks are best like N95, KN95.”

Due to the smoky skies, local hospitals in NYC reported a sharp increase in emergency room visits for asthma and other respiratory problems.

“At Lenox Health Greenwich Village, for example, the number of asthma treatments were more than double the average,” a spokesperson for Northwell Health told NBC News 4.

However, by Friday, the city’s air quality was considered “good.” Aside from Lizzo, Ice Spice, Lil Uzi Vert, Kim Petras, Diplo and many others performed at Governors Ball.
