Reese Witherspoon’s son, Deacon Phillippe, may be a college student, but he isn’t living like one.
The musician, 20, gave fans a peek inside his luxe West Village digs when TikToker Caleb Simpson — known for his spontaneous New York City apartment tours — stopped him on the street.
In the clip, which was posted Tuesday, Simpson asked the New York University student how much he pays for rent.
“West Village prices, man,” he added, noting he had “time between classes” for a tour.
Inside the two-story space, the TikTok star immediately said, “this is sick,” after Phillippe showed him the spiral staircase in the middle of the spacious living room with high ceilings.
“[The staircase] is a little sketchy,” the son of Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe added, especially after “a night out,” because it’s easy to hit your head.
The “Found Me” singer then showed off his “vinyl wall” featuring a large collection of records stacked against the apartment’s exposed brick interior.
Deacon also highlighted a keyboard positioned beside his bed.
“Studio setup. I sing and play a little bit of keyboard but I mostly make music on my computer,” the “Never Have I Ever” actor explained.
A few elements of regular life college were, however, present in the apartment, including a very small bathroom and the fact Deacon has two roommates.
Nevertheless, trolls were quick to brand him a “nepo baby” given his parents’ status in Hollywood.
“Rich kids / nepo babies LOVE to avoid mentioning their extremely wealthy parents,” one person wrote in the TikTok’s comment section.
“Let’s not forget that his mom and dad are wealthy celebrities,” another added. “He could afford the whole place if he wanted to!”
A third unhappy viewer wrote, “Occupation: nepo baby … The trust fund baby life.”
Others were impressed the up-and-coming musician seemed “so chill.”
“Impressed he has roommates,” one person commented. “Rack up those experience points!”
“Chill and laid back young man!” a second chimed in.
Deacon dropped his debut album, titled “A New Earth,” in April.
