Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift received the seal of approval from the Kansas City Chiefs head coach.
“I’m just glad he’s found somebody he likes and she’s found somebody she likes. That’s a good thing,” Andy Reid said in an interview with reporter Tod Palmer.
Despite the buzz surrounding the relationship, Reid said he hasn’t received any requests from friends and fellow NFL coaches for concert tickets or autographs from the “Anti-Hero” singer.
“Nobody’s really mentioned much on that,” he said.
Reid, 65, had already been a supporter of Swift and Kelce as he previously hinted that their romance has improved the tight end’s performance on the field.
“Kelce is getting better with time,” he told reporters last month, adding, “Taylor can stay around all she wants.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles coach has also revealed that he knows the “Love Story” hitmaker’s father, Scott Swift.
“I knew her from Philadelphia. Her dad was a big NFL fan,” Reid said on Outkick’s “The Five Spot” in October. “So I had met her when she was real young, and her dad.”
The NFL coach joked that he played a role in helping to “set Kelce up” with the Grammy-winning songstress.
He added that Taylor was a “good girl” as he reflected on the attention amid her presence at recent games.
“We’re glad she’s here,” he said.
The “Cruel Summer” singer, 33, first attended a Chiefs game on Sept. 24 amid romance rumors with Kelce, 34.
Taylor’s attendance immediately brought a new fanbase to the NFL as Swifties tuned in to watch her cheer on Travis alongside his mom, Donna Kelce.
She has since been seen at several games, even inviting A-list celebs along with her, including pals Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Sophie Turner.
Meanwhile, the pop star’s relationship with Travis has since heated up as he was recently seen supporting her at her Eras Tour stop in Argentina.
The football star was spotted dancing alongside Taylor’s dad and beaming while watching her perform.
He was even left in awe as the hitmaker changed the lyrics to her song “Karma.”
While she usually sings, “Karma is the guy on the screen,” she changed the lyrics to, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”
The couple even shared a sweet moment after the show when Taylor rushed over to greet her beau.
A fan video captured her jumping into Travis’ arms and planting a passionate kiss.
They were cheered on by adoring fans as they packed on the PDA.
