Arnold Schwarzenegger has worn a lot of hats over the years, including actor, bodybuilder and politician — but he is also a proud father of five.
Although the “Terminator” star welcomed all of his children while married to Maria Shriver from 1986 to 2011, he only shares four kids with the journalist.
That is because after welcoming Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher, Schwarzenegger secretly became the father of son Joseph with their family’s housekeeper, Mildred Baena.
While the former California governor maintains a close bond with Joseph, the young fitness model does not appear to have a relationship with his half-siblings.
Schwarzenegger spoke candidly about the parenting mistakes he made in Netflix’s “Arnold” documentary in June 2023, saying that he has to “live with” the “pain” he caused.
Find out more about Schwarzenegger’s five kids — and his relationships with their mothers — in the breakdown below.
Maria Shriver
Shriver, a journalist and member of the Kennedy family, met Schwarzenegger in 1977 at a tennis tournament. The duo tied the knot nine years later.
Although the “Kindergarten Cop” star kept his affair with Baena a secret until Joseph was a teenager, he came clean in 2011 during a marriage counseling session — and a “crushed” Shriver subsequently divorced him.
The former couple, who finalized their divorce in 2021, continued amicably coparenting over the years, with Schwarzenegger joking to the Hollywood Reporter in 2023 that they deserved “an Oscar” for their work.
Katherine Schwarzenegger
Shriver and Arnold’s eldest child, daughter Katherine, was born in December 1989.
The University of Southern California grad did not follow in her parents’ footsteps, instead making a name authoring “Rock What You’ve Got,” “The Gift of Forgiveness” and more self-help books.
In 2018, Katherine’s relationship with actor Chris Pratt made headlines. She married the “Parks and Recreation” alum the following year, going on to welcome daughters Lyla and Eloise in 2020 and 2022, respectively.
Christina Schwarzenegger
Katherine became a big sister in July 1991 when Shriver gave birth to another daughter.
Christina, who was diagnosed with ADD at age 5, has been vocal about her struggles with Adderall addiction over the years. She was prescribed the medication in high school and began abusing it while attending Georgetown University.
Her struggles are depicted in the 2018 Netflix documentary “Take Your Pills,” which she and Shriver co-produced.
Christina has also worked as an editor at Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop. While she wrote about health and wellness at the brand, she keeps her life private and does not maintain social media accounts.
Patrick Schwarzenegger
Patrick, who was born to Shriver and Arnold in September 1993, has pursued a career in the entertainment industry like his father.
The model has acted in “Moxie,” “The Staircase” and more projects, telling the “Kelly Clarkson Show” audience in 2021 that both of his parents are “proud.”
While Patrick was in a high-profile romance with Miley Cyrus in 2015, he is currently dating model Abby Champion.
Christopher Schwarzenegger
Since Christopher was born in September 1997, he has primarily stayed out of the spotlight.
In 2020, Arnold and Shriver’s youngest child graduated from the University of Michigan in a virtual ceremony amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
While Christopher is not active on social media, his dad has shared Instagram tributes to him over the years, saying his son spends his free time taking “boxing classes, weightlifting classes, stretching classes, cycling classes, and on and on” in a 2021 birthday post.
Mildred Baena
Five days after Christopher’s arrival, Baena gave birth to Joseph. Arnold initially believed that his housekeeper of 20 years’ then-husband, Rogelio Baena, was the father of the baby boy, despite their 1996 affair.
“In the beginning I really didn’t know,” the businessman told “Arnold” viewers in June 2023. “But the older he got, the more it became clear to me. It was then just a matter of, ‘How do you keep this quiet?’”
Mildred and Rogelio got divorced in 2008 after welcoming daughter Jackie. Three years later, she retired as the Schwarzenegger family housekeeper as her and Arnold’s dalliance came to light.
Joseph Baena
Joseph acknowledged in a January 2022 “Unwaxed” interview that it “took a little while” for himself and Arnold to become “close” after the “Expendables” star’s paternity was revealed.
The “Dancing With the Stars” alum, who clarified that they have since reached a place where they were able to “joke about everything,” has bonded with his father over bodybuilding and fitness modeling.
A source, however, told Pvnew in May 2023 that Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher “don’t love” Joseph and “take [the affair] out” on him.
