Queen Elizabeth’s royal sparkle lives on.
Kate Middleton stepped out in a new version of an old favorite evening gown tonight, wearing a rose gold sequined Jenny Packham dress and meaningful royal jewels for Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif’s royal wedding in Jordan.
The Princess of Wales, 41, brought out a significant piece of jewelry from Queen Elizabeth II’s collection for the first time, wearing the Greville Chandelier Earrings that the Queen Mother gave her as a wedding gift in 1949.
Middleton paired the dazzling diamonds with Princess Diana’s Lover’s Knot Tiara as she joined Prince William to greet the royal newlyweds and their family members at an evening reception following today’s ceremony.
Her long-sleeved, crystal-trimmed dress features slightly puffed sleeves and rhinestone embellishments on the front and at the waist.
And, the Princess clearly loves the look as she previously wore the same style in forest green on a 2019 trip to Pakistan as well as to the Royal PvNew Performance in 2021.
Coincidentally, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, who also attended today’s royal wedding, wore the rose pink version of the dress last year.
Middleton also wore her blue sash and Maltese cross badge that she received as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, adding the yellow ribbon and brooch known as the Royal Family Order.
Earlier today, Middleton stuck to the same color palette, wearing a dusty rose Elie Saab gown for the Jordanian couple’s beautiful outdoor wedding.
She wore the floaty creation to Crown Prince Hussein and Al Saif’s Islamic marriage ceremony — known as a “katb ketab” — wearing her hair in romantic waves and adding bold gemstone drop earrings for the event.
With plenty of royal events this month, we can’t help but wonder what the Princess of Wales will pull out of her royal jewel box next.
