Several of Tom Sandoval’s “Vanderpump Rules” castmates, including Scheana Shay, actively avoided the reality star during BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas, Pvnew has learned.
“He was definitely getting the cold shoulder,” a source who had eyes on the ground during the the three-day fan convention exclusively tells us Monday.
“He is still radioactive after Scandoval. Hardly anyone at BravoCon wanted to closely associate.”
The new insight comes after Pvnew exclusively obtained a photo of the Most Extras frontman hanging at the same afterparty as Shay and her husband, Brock Davies, late Saturday evening.
However, an onlooker tells us that the photo doesn’t quite tell the whole story.
Shay and other Bravolebrities had gone to the Delano Las Vegas hotel following the Bravo After Dark party to watch a live performance, which is when Sandoval arrived, the eyewitness shares.
Despite Sandoval taking a seat next to Davies, the latter was wrapped up in a phone call as Shay chatted up “Below Deck Down Under” star Captain Jason Chambers a few feet away.
“Tom came and was sitting there for only a few minutes,” our spy says, adding, “Nobody was engaging with him so he quietly slipped out.”
As previously reported, Shay, 38, set the record straight with Pvnew on Saturday after she was spotted at Sandoval’s hotel suite the night before.
“I don’t like some of the things I heard him saying about Ariana on his podcast and in [the] press,” she told us, explaining that she was defending Sandoval’s ex-girlfriend and co-star, Ariana Madix.
Shay added that she had urged Sandoval, 41, to stop “bringing up any issues” that he and Madix, 38, “had in their relationship.”

“We don’t need to keep talking about that. It’s in the past,” she continued. “We’ve filmed the whole season. We have a reunion. But let her heal and just stop.”
At the end of Season 10, the “Good as Gold” singer emotionally cut ties with Sandoval after his highly publicized cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss came to light.
Despite explaining the reason behind her chat with Sandoval at the convention, fans suspected there had been a reconciliation after the “Pump Rules” Season 11 trailer showed the two sharing a hug.
However, Shay described the brief clip as “slightly misleading.”
“There was a lot that was said, and I’ve not been easy on him. I’ve been very stern with how I feel and what I disagree with,” she said.
Shay wasn’t the only one who felt compelled to clarify their interactions with the TomTom co-owner at BravoCon this past weekend.
“Southern Charm” star Olivia Flowers cleared the air during a panel on Sunday after she and Sandoval were seen exiting the same party.
“We went to [Paige DeSorbo’s] birthday party and just happened to leave at the same time. I remember walking through the casino, and I heard, ‘It’s Olivia and Sandoval,’ and I was like, ‘S—t,’” she recalled.
“It’s not Olivia and Sandoval. We just left at the same time and I’m a big Ariana fan, big fan of the cast … that’s the answer.”
Even fans at the convention made it clear that they were “team Ariana” by booing the reality star when he appeared onstage with his castmates.
While Bravolebrities and attendees alike were quick to distance themselves from Sandoval, Lala Kent showed some compassion for her co-star by urging audience members to stop booing.
“I was over it,” Kent, 33, exclusively told us.
“Time has passed,” she added, referencing Sandoval and Madix’s relationship.
“I love Ariana dearly. I will always be loyal to her, but when I’m watching something in front of me, I feel like I’m pretty logical and I’ve got to call it like I see it,” she elaborated. “But that doesn’t mean that I’m not going to ride hard for you.”
Season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules” premieres January 2024.
